My School in Baghdad, Before and After US Invasion

it is war, and arial bombing happened, civilians died that matters, militants used civilian bases is as possibility as US misbombing a civilian bombing thinking it has millitants.
Whom do you term militants in this case ?

USA has got away with blue murder in name of war against terror in Iraq case. I never liked Saddam's policies but all said and done he never had weapons of mass destruction or any support for Al Quaida. I did not appreciate our support for the American led invasion of Iraq.

So many innocent Iraqi's were killed and casually described as collateral damage by Mr Rumsfeld. What makes it more awfull is that by all counts it has torn apart the fabric of Iraqs society and any mayhem and uncertainity lies ahead in the future. The american arms companies are the only winners.

true,

but Iraq under Saddam was not that bad as people think. he did kill civillians in his initial years in power. but after the lesson he learnt from the first Gulf War, iraq was a very peaceful place to live. the people had all the basic necessities and he had the scheme of giving out free food to people. alot of people died during his time were due to sanctions, which lead to inadequate medical facilities and despite having the basic necessities, people could not get proper treatment for diseases. wether it be shia, sunni or kurds, 99% of Iraqis now prefer Iraq under Saddam rather than what it is now.

I'm sorry they were not millitants, I honestly dont have anything against Iraq, Saddam was one of Indias friend even though his issues against Shias was documented? (wondering if it is true or not) because there seemed groups who rejoiced over his death? ,but a definite, we lost another ally.

Saddam was never anti-Shia, as most people think him to be. he was against anyone who is against him, wether it be a Shia or Sunni or Kurd. in his initial years, the Shias and Kurds revolted, he did what a dictator would do. the Shias then calmed down but the Kurdish revolt went on.

After their initial revolt ended, Saddam kept the Shias under close check, put some restrictions (on Shia gatherings) but never killed any of them again.

a fact is that 60% of Saddam's Baath party was Shia. of the 100 top most wanted people of the Baath Party in Iraq by the US, 60 are Shia, and of the 10,000 ex-Baathist who cannot apply for govt jobs, nearly 6000 are Shia.

Dear Joey, I'm surprised to see how naive you are!!
If you remember the campaign of war it was all about WMD and as of toady, it has been admitted by all the coalition nations that it was wrong information, deliberatly I would say.
Shia life is as important as any other's and now tell me if all those dying as today are less important and which Saddam should we blame now.

Batman I dont see my post being equated with any naiveness, perhaps you missed the questions mark? which means i'm asking and not proposing.
