What's new

My pind lookin like Karanchi

You ever cool off in a tubewell?
Once but I feel like my little bro (5 y/o at the time )peed in the tube well- f that
So I'll probably go alone next time around if the opportunity presents itself
I heard from someone that original Lahoris aren’t actually kanjars, but that most Lahoris aren’t actually from Lahore proper.
Most Lahoris aren't actually from Lahore- true
Partition victims, rural migration, migration from other provinces

But since late 1700s my father side is from Lahore, mother has a village background but grew up in city too
I think you’re a decent guy and would consider you like a little brother if you weren’t a kaafir.
👍🏼😯

Lahoris and Isloo nerds don’t know what natural beauty is that’s why.
Yep exactly, you gotta go visit and experience the rural Punjab vibes to know what natural beauty feels like in these areas.

I am not a Punjabi but luckily I have many friends from rural backgrounds so I am used to visiting such villages.

Btw, your village has true rural peaceful vibe to it.

Air is clean and no noise, so makes you sleepy. 4 hours of sleep in my village equals 16 hours anywhere else.

@tman786 @waz

Some things just aren’t worth the money.

You can give your clothes, blood or money, but never an inch of Muslim land- for that is our dignity.

That’s one thing that I’ve always disliked about the PA and DHA. stealing land from the poor people has become a common pass time, even in where I am from, in Azad Kashmir.

My family has been on the land for 400 years. We have been persecuted by the Kashmiris in the Jammu massacres. We participated in Kargil. We witnessed such atrocities at the hands of the Indians

And then, our fellow Pakistanis, who we deemed as our saviours, are now annexing the same land that we bled to protect

@SecularNationalist the Isloo burga was running his mouf too but even he can’t deny ke sadda pind sohna wa..

I’ll post more pics later on. These were some I found in my mobile that I don’t use anymore.

@Mirzali Khan look at what a real Punjabi village looks like in South Punjab, my Afghan maajar fraaand!
Don't force this isloo burga to open his Punjabi mouth

I’ve been... it’s a nice city but boring af. Went to the mall, it closed at 11 pm. Then looked for something to eat afterwards and everything was closed. Did go to that sattar baksh coffee shop. It was a cool little spot.
Not at all boring if you have a social circle.
It offers nice calamity, scenery, natural beauty, pure air and living standard no other city in Pakistan offers.
I ve lived in lahore ,Karachi as well but isloo is the best.

My father basically grew up there from age 9 onwards and he swears there’s no better place than it. I basically don’t like leaving BWP when I’m in Pakistan, unless it’s to go to the ocean or the Himalayas..

There is a reason after all why it's the second most beautiful capital in the world.
You will see most people here following traffic laws as compared to the other cities. Way less garbage and pollution problem. Everything is hygienic. Way better law and order.
The reason behind that is both twin cities Rawalpindi and islamabad are cities of educated people. Literacy rate here is very high.
And that's the primary reason why people from other areas don't get along with people of isloo and Rawalpindi. They face criticism from us because they are used to do things their ways and we find them odd.
And that doesn't mean the people here are rude or arrogant. Most people here I met are nice people.

...all because of extensive budget awarded to cda every year. take that away, and you will have ijp like situation everywhere. also, its planned, yes. but the planning is truly horrible (even highlighted in PIDE's study about isb's masterplan).

as for educated people, again, its only because of financial well-being of govt servants.

true, those who claim themselves Lahori aren't same. Lahoris if you want to meet you have to go to walled city. they are loving people talk very politely. even you'll love the environment over there.
