The talk show goddess seems quite upset with the chaos in Vrindavan which ensued when three of her bodyguards were arrested for roughing up scribes and damaging their equipment. The incident occured when the journalists were chasing Oprah while she was shooting her new show, Oprah’s Next Chapter, there.

Seems like the scuffle between her bodyguards and a section of the Indian media in Vrindavan has left Oprah Winfrey wary in terms of security arrangements here. So much so that the celebrated American talk show host is now making her first trip to India and her Last too

I don't see anyone shedding tears on Oprah not wanting to come back to India. She came here to promote herself. If she does not wish to return, that is perfectly OK with us. She should not get away with the impression that it is OK for her bodyguards to rough up Indian journalists while in India and expect to get away with it. I don't understand how these bodyguards got released after getting arrested? They should have been thrown into jail and tried for criminal assault. Oprah may be a super star in the US, she is no one here. Advise to her would be to abide by the law of the land she is visiting or face consequences.

When in India - follow the laws of the land. With respect Oprah isnt bigger than India and in fact a second rated star who still believes in being a goddess. I completely agree why should the bodyguards be treated different because they are USA?

Hmm... reminds me of the aged Indian Statesman who got frisked by the TSA. Indians went nuts.
