But what is the difference !?

Let's compare it with 002 :

To be continued ...

In the pictures you can see an Iran Khodro Diesel made L-series mercedez benz truck (Kompressi) which is popular in Iran, you can also see a saipa pride.

The landing gear seems to have been down when the plane crashed. Since the nose of the craft seems to have taken a beating at the point where the landing gear is, and has bent down. The rear landing gear seems to have snapped back in its folding position but seem to have been twisted. Most probably because landing was very hard, after all it was a crash.

The propeller was not turning when it hit the ground since only one blade has been twisted. The other blades seem to be in good condition so probably the engine was not running when it went down.

There are no skid marks behind the crash and assuming the plane has not been moved, this could have been a crash after a long spin towards the ground, something like this RQ-4 crash:

Seems this is a temporary cover !

The final result will be like this?

A satcom !?

Well, a satcom equipped plane, without a satellite in orbit is not of much use.

But the serial number is very interesting. 003 and how many different drones we have seen, including this? You can calculate how many S-129 are out there using this formula: German tank problem - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

But one thing is sure. It definitely crashed in Iran since those Benz trucks do not exist in Pakistan (or for that matter in most of other countries around the world).

Another thing to note is that the ground sand seems to be like from somewhere very near to sea. It means the drone's mission is rather over the seas and oceans. What it was doing there? Keeping an eye on navies operating in Indian ocean/Oman sea, on international shipping or maybe it had gone to Yemen.

Its the exact same S-129 that was unveiled. There is nothing different. The angle of the photo is possibly the reason for you suspicion. The nose just seems to have taken damage during the initial crash which is why its bent, you can see it in one of your photos. If there was SATCOM you will see an obvious bulge.

Test flight !

No. I was talking about the serial numbers so we could estimate the total number of S-129 out there using this formula:

N= m+m/k-1

m= maximum serial number observed
k= total number of units observed
N= estimated number of units out there in wild

Oh, I see. Thank you.

So per the formula, it means there are only 3 built. One has crashed so, only two remain now.

For real !?

The last one crashed ... this is a prototype anyway !

He is referring to the hood. The new one has a hood that extends all the way to the tip of the nose
