I was surprised to discover just how many Muslim communities in other parts of South Asia claim descent (either factually or fictionally) from Punjabis and Sindhis. Here are some examples:

The Khokhar Khanzada and Khokhar Ranghar - they come from Uttar Pradesh and claim descent from Punjabi Khokhar/Ranghar soldiers who conquered the region during the reigns of Allaudin Khaliji and Zahiruddin Muhammad Babur respectively

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Khokhar_Khanzada

The Bhatti Khanzada - they come from Uttar Pradesh and claim descent from Punjabi Bhattis who migrated to the region during the Islamic conquests

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bhatti_Khanzada

The Memon - they claim Sindhi ancestry and primarily come from Gujarat as well as Sri Lanka

Even the Tughlaq dynasty in India not only had Bhatti ancestry but also strongly identified with it:

Khokhars and Bhattis are also among Gujjars and Jats, and come from the Punjab. The term Rajput is just used to denote certain ruling lineages from historic times.

And please, don't go off topic.

It's not just Muslims. The Ror and Lohana community also claim Sindhi descent, however genetic studies have actually proven that claim.

There are also countless communities in India and Bangladesh that claim Pashtun ancestry.

The latitude of Pakistan is 30.3753° N, which denotes Pakistan's positioning in the northern hemisphere. The longitude of the country is 69.3451° E, meaning it is part of the eastern hemisphere. Together, these points indicate that Pakistan is situated to the north of the equator.

Both of the links makes no mention of Punjabi ancestry - the Khokhar one says "The Khokhar Pathan claim descent from Malik Babur, who said to have come from kabool & Iran" and Bhatti one says "They have no connection with the Ranghar Bhatti of western Uttar Pradesh or those of Punjab.".

You should substantiate your claims with more sources.

My ancestors come from Pindi Bhattian. We migrated to Iok (jammu actually) about 10 generations ago. We have been in AJK since partition.

The Khokhars, Rannghars and Bhattis are prominent tribes from the Punjab. They may not associate themselves with these tribes, but it's evident that this is where their origins lie.

The Khokhars and Bhattis are both prominent tribes from the Punjab, that's why the claim is made. They may not associate themselves with these tribes, but it's evident that this is where their origins lie.
Hindu Bhattis are also found in Rajasthan and Haryana. Hindu Khokhars are found too in the same states but they are probably Jats, not Rajput.
And Bhattis originates from Jaisalmer, their presence in Punjab is a latter phenomenon when their Jaisalmer state was weakened by Umayyad campaigns, they dispersed.

Correct, but their main strongholds are within the Punjab, and the Muslim ones are virtually non-existent elsewhere.

The khan is not phustun specific title.
Sadly it has been attributed to one community ie phustoons.
The khan's or hans trace their ancesstory back to cengiz han or halaku han and the han dynasty. Later some of their descendants converted to Islam and conquest the subcontinent. The punjabis and phustoons carry the surname khan, which does not represent the tribe but the linkage to the khan dynasty.
They have their own tribes and cast later.
Like phustoons have ahmedzai, yousufzai and many others
And so does punjabis.
While some carry the surname of khan.
Similarly the issue is in the khan of India, or the karachi urdu speaking. But the use khan as their tribe or caste. They are also converted but somehow lost their hindu tribe or cast, and use khan as their cast. This made them think that they are descended from phustoons. They are not.
This is the totally based on lies.
Khan in india can carry thier tribe or caste name which must be hindu in majority of the cases and use khan as the sirname representation the larger family.

The khan and khanam was used as Mr and Mrs in old magnolia during cheniz khan and even today all Turkish speaking country called their women kahem and men with respect han. For example in Turkish you would call a women hanim which is khanem of course.

Jaisalmer state remains the longest held state by Bhattis (till 47') though their power was very much reduced and Rathore, Sisodia and Kachwaha became the main powers. Some hypothesize it happened because of Umayyad campaigns.
