I don't understand why there is so much confusion about what one can and can't do in Islam. Is it related to the ambiguous nature of the Arabic language? I keep hearing about misinterpretations. Why not just write a correct unambiguous version of the Quran and distribute it worldwide and end any scope of misinterpretation?

dude the quote in the Quran says that you can marry 4 wives bit it further goes to say "Only if you can do justice, and Allah knows you cannot do Justice, so it is better that you only marry one"

It is related to the laziness of people like me who instead of reading and learning religion by themselves, rely on spoon feeding from the so-called religious people, who then manipulate them as per their wishes.

Distributing is not a problem...problem is people prefer paying someone to tell them stories (pir or idiotic Mullah with no schooling but just recommendations based on their family lineage over reading it themselves ...

Firstly my father has been passed away earlier ten years that's why its useless to ask something about this to my mom ... But I have already decided that when I will be able to marry my daughters I will just find a truthful, honest, sincere and religious guy ... I won't care about his marriages ... If he could afford more than 1 wife with just then it wouldn't be bother to me that it is his 2nd or 3rd marriage ... And your hate is just a religious grudge which is being shown by your post ........

Firstly, according to Islam a woman is allowed to choose without her consent you cant give her away....

2ndly its not every truthful honest sincere and religious man (at face) is really like that....and a woman is allowed to secure her future to add in financial security and looks....

Anyway when one is religious: truthful, honest and sincerity comes in naturally...

However, in today's world men who want 2nd wife are rarely than ever close to "real religious" they are down right horny....Justice is the last thing they are capable of!

2ndly its not every truthful honest sincere and religious man (at face) is really like that....and a woman is allowed to secure her future to add in financial security and looks....

Anyway when one is religious: truthful, honest and sincerity comes in naturally...

I am only a student not a scholar ...I dont have any formal degree in Islam nor its laws.....

I also have no proper command of the Arabic language...for me to go forward I would need all that for I am not willing to be taken for a ride if someone comes up with something that I have not come across ....Nor will I wanna be confused nor confusing if someone throws difficult Arabic at me....

I believe everyone can offer 1-2 good words for their cause and that is what I give for Islam....
