Don't flatter yourself. In your posts thus far, there is little evidence of any thinking; whether inside or outside of any box.....

Depends on who i am talking to..
Sometomes the other party does not deserve me stressing my brain cells,as they are too dumb to underdtand any thoughtful post..
Tough luck if you are one of 'them' .

.
Btw...any car full of brand new 'appliances',as the news says... Will attract attention from theives and muggers..
Why the news paper decided to pain this into muslim/hindu story..i dont understand.
Plus the hindu 'man' the women 'thought' would be a deterrent for baddies, wasnt even taken into notice by the muggers..
So much for 'Mr.Dharma's' manhood

Don't know about Pakistan, it is still uncommon in India to have mobs waiting for such "a lottery" of new appliances. How would the mob know what they were carrying? This was a mob going after the mother of that poor girl. Everyone else were just tools in their plans

Wow.... The land of peace and harmony.. India..
Police department must be an unwanted burden on national treasury as there arw no crimes?

The problem with chaps like you is that you don't even want to read what you are posting. My location says Bangalore. FYI, it's in Karnataka. Credit me with having more information on a local issue.

This is what you posted along with the link. You should have read through....

BANGALORE: This is one infamy Bangalore could have done without.
The city ranks next only to New Delhi in the crime against women
statistics. The latest National Crime Records Bureau (NCRB) report for 2011 shows
that Bangalore has witnessed 1,890 instances of crime against women.
This accounts for 5.6% of such crime in the country. The corresponding
numbers for New Delhi stood at 4,489 cases and 13.3%. Snapping at
Bangalore's heels is Hyderabad: 1,860 cases and 5.5%. The warning signs that the city was becoming unsafe for women were
always there. Two BCom students were riding back home after
Christmas carol session one evening last year. They were accosted by a
group of hoodlums who tied up the boy and sexually assaulted the girl
in front of him in a cemetery on Berlie Street, off Hosur Road. There was a hue and cry over the incident as it was grim reminder
how city was not safe for women. Police arrested the culprits in less
than a week and claimed that the incident was only an aberration. NCRB statistics now nail the police claim. The number of crime cases
against women in the city in 2010 was 1,590 and constituted 6.5% of
the national number. Besides, the city figured third among the cities in
the category. But police are still not ready to describe the situation as alarming. A
senior police officer said: "The increase in the number of cases reported
should be looked at in a different way. People are more aware of the
need for reporting such crimes and they are coming forward to do so." He, however, admitted: "But I don't think this is enough. Still there are
many more cases to be addressed and if we are able to punish all those
people, it will act as a strong deterrent." The rising crime against women in Bangalore may be a new
phenomenon. But the largest share of the crime is traditional in nature:
of 1,890 instances of crime against women, 458 were cruelty by
husband in the domestic sphere. There were 250 cases of molestation,
206 cases of kidnapping, 97 cases of rape, 53 cases of dowry death and
40 cases of sexual harassment. In 74 of the 97 rape cases reported in 2011, victims were in the age
group of 18-30 and 47 rapists knew their victims earlier. Chilling numbers 2011-2010 Crime against women: 1,890 -- 1,590 Cruelty by husband: 458 -- 398 Molestation: 250 -- 308 Kidnapping: 206 -- 29 Rape: 97 -- 65 Dowry deaths: 53 -- 52 Sexual harassment: 40 -- 50 Crime against women Delhi 4,489 cases (13.3%) Bangalore 1,890 (5.6%) Hyderabad 1,860 cases (5.5%) Vijayawada 1,797 cases (5.3%)

.
BANGALORE: Bangalore has beaten New Delhi and Mumbai, albeit
infamously. In its latest findings, the National Crime Records Bureau
(NCRB), rates Bangalore as the city recording the fifth highest crime
rate, accounting for 9.2% of crimes in the country.

Safriz, you are not getting the point.. Bang Galore didn't said there were no attack on ladies in the state nor his state is peaceful.. He was saying the current situation is not that of a robbery rather it was a clear example of religious intolerance..

It would have been a 'clear incident' of religious policing if the woman was attcked without a car full of electrical appliances and lots of cash..
Obviously somebody observed her doing big shopping in stotes and shuttling to her house with new stuff.
So it cant be a 'clear' case of religious policing, specially when she was also robbed of the money and the Manly man Mr.Dharma was unharmed...
If the 'mob' was of religious fanatics Mr.Dharma lal kichari would have been in hospital with multiple fractures, but the repprt says nothing like that..

Obviously a case of indian banana journalism.

Plus if you read Bang Glore's comments he was adamant that he is local and there arw no crimes in his city, and i can leave my Rolex oyster on the footpayh and pick it up untouched from same place z week later ...

Religious nut jobs are holding everyone hostage everywhere.

In our countries not just secularism is needed but there should be a law "No one will be allowed to enforce religion on to the other".

Mangalore especially has multiple religious tensions - Extreme Christian elements playing dirty propaganda, extreme hindu elements conducting moral policing banning the Valentine's day celebrations, getting into bars and attacking people, attacking churches, this PFI muslim organization conducting moral policing like this incident. Tight laws are needed as well as enforcement of it. These people are trouble for everyone.

Explicitly criminalize proselytization on public property without government approval (for say things like Diwali, Eid).
