Muslim techie beaten to death in Pune, 7 men of Hindu outfit held

what did he say about shiva ?

can anyone post it?

Not Shiva but Shivaji he posted bad pictures of him on fb, did he really think that if Hindus saw it they would do nothing? this guy is a fool who wanted to cause communal tension but he is dead so I won't say more. He should have known better but looking at him he had hatred for Hindus and he paid for his stupid actions with his life what a waste.

He had balls to abuse Shivaji in his own Marathi state and on top he abused Bal saab too :disagree: this guy was asking for trouble

Boko haram kidnaps hundreds of innocent christian girls......muslims say ohhh, they are not muslim, they don't represent islam.Everyday muslim extreemists kills hundreds of people in the name of islam, muslims say....ohh , they dont represent islam. Some 11-13 retards kill one practically stupid man, everybody jumps on board to critisize the hindus. What a sweet hypocritical world.

I also want to explain the word practically stupid man.i am currently in pune and will relate the incidents as they have occured . Four days from now , shivaji maharaj statue was desecrated, insulting messages was written on it.Moreover, posters were posted across city insulting shivaji maharaj. There was palpable tension in the city with suspicion on a nearby muslim locality.Tension ran so high, that that part of the city was practically closed the next day.Now , Shivaji maharaj is a larger than life figure in maharashtra and generally considered above criticism here. Now, with all this simmering tension around, the techie here committed a pretty stupid mistake of posting that comment .His religious identity mattered but not a lot, anyone would have been made a scapegoat even a hindu by some of these fringe organisation in this tension.Do i blame the techie, absolutely not....free speech is a fundamental right. But,practically speaking he should not have posted the comments right now in this tension...again practically speaking.

He was a fool alright , but in an ideal world he should have the right to critisize shivaji....and that ideal state should be our aspiration.

This was one side of truth.. Let the counter argument come before making it Hindu-Muslim drama.

A true incident happen at Marthahalli Bangalore:
last month my Hindu frnd was coming from office, A muslim Boy's (had Topi and Beard) bike hit him from behind, he asked him to ride safe/slow.

As usual That muslim Boy start fighting, in no time many Muslims frnds gather and started drama. He called his Hindu Police frnd, That Hindu Police thrashed those Muslim hooligans black and blue.

Now read it without Hindu and Muslim

The
Problem with Muslim that they see everything as Muslim and non Muslim.

Spot on brother.

Before claiming such things why dont you read and investigate

Tension prevailed in Pune, after an angry mob went on rampage in the town over morphed pictures of the late Shiv Sena chief Bal Thackery, Chhatrapati Shivaji and other Hindu gods which were shared on Facebook on Saturday, and later re-circulated on WhatsApp, according to reports in the Indian Express and Hindustan Times.

A Muslim IT professional, who was no in way connected to the circulation of the pictures, was attacked by the mob and killed, say the news reports. The Indian Express report says, "Mohsin Sadiq Shaikh, a 24-year-old from Solapur district was beaten to death by a mob after he was returning home" from offering namaz. His friend Riyaz who was with him when the attack took place told the paper, "Moshin was targeted because he was wearing a skull cap and had a beard." The police arrested seven people associated with the Hindu Rashtra Sena (right-wing fringe group) and the chief of this outfit Dhananjay Desai, adds the IE report.

This kind of response is exactly what the Facebook content itself is trying to provoke. According to the Hindustan Times, the morphed material was created with express purpose of provoking communal riots. The Cyber Crime Investigating Cell (CCIC) officers of the Mumbai crime branch told the paper that, "the page on Facebook was created in 2013," and had close to 50,000 likes. A source in CCIC told HT, that the creator used a fake identity to start the page and then, "initially put positive contents so that the page attracted followers." The offensive content was uploaded nearly a year later, over the past weekend. For now the page has been deleted and police is waiting for Internet Protocol (IP) details to know which computer or mobile was used to commit the crime.

Meanwhile Desai has denied that his outfit had anything to do with the murder and said, "We understand that circulating derogatory pictures is a cyber crime but the problem cannot be solved by killing innocent persons." The incident once again highlights the potential of how social media posts in India can be used to create communal mischief. In case of the Muzaffarnagar riots, there were reports that a fake video of two boys being beaten up by a mob did the rounds on WhatsApp, social media pages before the riots broke out. The video was actually two years old and from Afghanistan but it has already spread on social media like wild-fire and added to the already prevailing communal tensions. At the time, police officers were caught off-guard due to their ignorance of technology, saying at the time, "we did not imagine so many people would have access to the net on their mobile phones and WhatsApp." In the 2012 Azad Maidan riots in Mumbai too there was evidence that SMS and MMS messages were shared to spread communal tension.

According to a Times ofIndia report then, police had said that "video clippings of killings of Muslims in Burma were available with most of the young boys on their mobile phone." Then of course in August 2012, online rumours that people from North-east would be attacked by Muslims over the violence in Assam. The government of India was forced to asked Facebook and Google to remove “inflammatory and hateful content”, which was seen as spurring this mass-exodus. Tens of thousands of panic-stricken students and workers from northeast left their homes in cities like Bangalore, Pune, spurred by rumours they would be attacked in retaliation for communal violence in Assam. In this case, there is no evidence as yet of police negligence or incompetence. Over the past few days, police called mohalla and peace committee meetings to defuse tensions, and were quickly on the scene after the attack on Shaikh. But none of this has helped squelch either the rumours --the latest claiming that Muslims pelted a Shivaji statue -- or the threat of violence. Problem is that it will create communal tension and Shivaji is a hero for not just Hindus but all Indians, his right hand man was a Muslim who fought along with Shivaji. Shivaji respected all religions and build not only temples but mosque too.

I do not agree with people abusing Shivaji I feel it is wrong and such persons should be booked by the police on grounds of inciting communal tension and religious hatred (btw there is such laws in UK too) like you can not deface the image of the Queen etc.

If he never did such actions than it is a shocking crime on a innocent person and the persons responsible should face the death penalty but let's see what the investigation says.

:what: oh man you can insult Gandhi openly and can get away with it and you are killed for posting picture of Bal Thakray ???
Thackray aint a biggie.

But being in Maharashtra and insulting Shivaji. Thats beyond stupid. Its like living in Pakistan and insulting Mohammad. Mob justice will happen.

So you accept that Hindus can also kill others for blasphemy .

whatever the investigation says now the fact is that extremist hindus killed a muslim for morphed pictures of hindu figure though the Muslim youth has nothing to do with it

yes. a hindu can do every weird stuff that a muslim can do. What is special in that?
You seem to be confused between what law and state response should be and what Individuals do.
Lot of hindus are xenopobic, racist, and bigot and communal. The law is against it.

yes, this specific muslim youth has probably nothing to do with it and is a victim of violence in a communally surcharged situation. In maharastra Shivaji has been elevated to a level that can generate enormous anger if anybody says anything against him.

Most Muslims are in slums living in poverty. The ones who try get beaten or raped depending on their gender. Horrid country.

Hindus also kill for food. Whats your point?
Its not institutionalized in our religion and laws though unlike our neighbours to the west.

We are learning all this from our western neighbour. Still no where near them though.

The culprits must be brought to book and prosecuted I believe they should face the death penalty but I also want to know who is behind this cyber crime trying to incite communal violence and tension and that person or persons should also face jail because doing such things are dangerous in a country like India where everyone must coexist and learn to respect each others religion and culture.

I'm deeply saddened and embarrassed by this shocking crime. Kill the brainless peasants who did this, bloody jobless fanatics.

We banned the satanic verses out of respect for our Muslim brothers and sisters and things like this are to be condemned because such idiots that do this do not realise it can lead to a communal riot where many people could be killed!

what has shivaji got to do with hinduism.. or thakrey for that matter.

Yes, over sensitive people and their blind followers have to be shown a bit of respect unfortunately, but to fatally beat up somebody over it is just mad. Hang the mofos.
