Both are right and wrong.
One dsnt want any kind of religious involvement and other wants religion.

On principle he can't employ a turbaned Sikh and a Hindu with a tikka as well.
As long as his organization bans all religious symbolism and doesn't discriminate against one, it should not raise any eyebrows. We need more of such patriots in our nation.

There is no general rule in Europe that religious symbols are allowed.
France has many examples where such symbols must be inconspicuous.
In Sweden, you are not allowed to wear religious symbols on TV
when your are a news anchor.
I think it was in Belgium, where a company did not allow any religious symbols
by persons working in the reception, was sued, and won.

Not allowing religious symbols is not discrimination.
Not allowing symbols of a specific religion is.

I don't know what are you trying to defend the girls priority is her religion and the orphanage no religion .
She herself said "Zoya, who had also in the past faced exclusion due to her hijab, replies saying covering her head was a ‘priority’ for her.".
