Muslim dad threatened with death over daughter's Christmas tree

Without going into details of accuracy of Jesus's date of birth .......

If Pakistani Muslims can block the roads, cut the cakes, make noises, steal electricity to light their rallies on 12th Rabi Ul Awal, if these are some pious acts and deeds ........... then they should all be setting up Christmas trees in their homes on 25th December to celebrate birthday of Jesus. I think it would be fair to celebrate birthday of all 124,000 Messengers and Prophets, we believe in all of them .......... just imagine 365 days in a year and so many birthdays to celebrate.

It would be hypocritical not to celebrate every Messenger's birthday. Amir Khan is being fair ...........

"You mut be dead and your family will be death i promise and allah must promise i and allah see you and check you your angel death came too see you," said mohammadalaidaengreza.

This one seems fake ........ or the best case of why some people shouldn't have internet access.

UK reality TV star and former boxer Amir Khan has been trolled on Instagram over a post showing a Christmas tree he set up for his daughter.

Khan shared the post, writing that he'd put it up for three-year-old daughter Lamaisah, setting it up overnight so she'd wake up and see it.

"While everyone's asleep, daddy put the Christmas tree up. Lamaisah is going to be so happy," she said.

Since sharing the post just one day ago, Khan has been accused of betraying Islam and has even been threatened with death over his decision to set up the tree which is associated with Christmas, originally a Christian celebration to mark the birth of Jesus.

"You mut be dead and your family will be death i promise and allah must promise i and allah see you and check you your angel death came too see you," said mohammadalaidaengreza.

"As a fellow muslim, I'm appauld by seeing this," wrote nosheensheikh07. "A Christmas tree represents CELTIC PAGAN tradition. Are you a Pagan?! Putting up a Christmas tree means you accept pagan culture and it's not about 'JUST FUN'. It's SHIRK! Why are so called Muslims imitating the kuffar and adopting pagan traditions?! May Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala GUIDE you brother because you're pleasing the kuffar and displeasing Allah subhanahu wa ta'ala."

"Muslim parents are supposed to teach their children we don't celebrate Christmas, whether or not it's for a child it's wrong full stop," bri_89x commented.

mu1zz_@makeupparties said, "Amir khan should not have put this tree up n say merry Christmas cuz that is what Christian believes and not Muslims. ASTAGFIRULLAH."

Christmas is only four weeks away - but rather than being joyful - the festive season can be a time of stress and anxiety. Join journalist Emmy Kubainski and clinical psychologist Kirstin Bouse as they offer some helpful tips and tricks to get you through this time of year in one piece:

"Islam forbids the celebration of other religions," said analee_b_nzz. "And its not haters u idotic individual.. its stating a fact.... muslims who celebrate xmas are weak & committing a big sin... u should always try and improve urself in every aspect NOT go further into sin."

And then many Muslims confessed to also following so-called "pagan" traditions, saying they didn't feel celebrating Christmas compromised their religion at all.

"This day is a pagan day from the three pagan ritual," wrote akhirahovenduycaa. "Your not getting the point he's Muslim not a Christian and we know that this day is a paganism and it goes against Islam. What aren't you understanding. No one is saying it isn't a pagan Christian day."

Fellow Muslim parents explained they feel it's important to participate in such traditions in order to teach their children "religious tolerance."

"Im pretty sure he is doing it for his kid," dr.chou88 said.

"It being a holiday season. As long as he teaches her that Muslim don’t celebrate Christmas and not take part in other traditions of Christmas. Also by putting a tree and some lights outside your house you can show appreciation and love to Christian neighbors and build religious tolerance."

Take a chill pill guys. We also set up a Christmas tree in our house to celebrate the holidays. We have showcased it in our balcony. We have been doing it for past 6 years. Not a single person in our neighbourhood objected to it. In fact everyone was asking where we got one and want to do the same in their house. Children love to decorate the tree and to put up the lights. We even go to church on Christmas eve to celebrate Christmas with other Christian neighbours. It is wonderful to get into holiday mood with others.

Celebrate diversity and I would like to wish everyone 'Happy Holidays' and 'Merry Christmas'.

Please do that. Charity begins at home. How would you do that? I hope you can name all of them at least to start with?

I am not into business of celebrating birthdays ............ my comment is for Muslims who are into this birthday celebration of Messenger(s)........ I think you missed my point all together.

Okay but since you have gone into the trouble of suggesting that, would you like to elaborate how to implement it practically. I'm expecting a genius solution from you. How to squeeze 124000 birthdays in a 365-day year? Can we use facebook & web-bots to do that?

Buddy I am not for the birthday celebrations in the first place ........ ask the people who celebrate 12th Rabi Ul Awal, and my comment is not a suggestion but criticism of illogical practice(s) adopted in name of Islam ........ when you believe in all Messengers then why not celebrate birthdays of all of them? 365 days and 124000 birthdays to celebrate ......... see where it takes you.

So your interpretations are logical while the others are illogical. Well we have seen that a lot in the recent past.

Didn't I tell you to add me to your ignore list? If you think cutting cakes, blocking roads and making noises is logical and pious to celebrate 12th Rabi Ul Awal .... that's your opinion, now if you will excuse me I don't like engaging mentally disturbed children in complex debates. Never quoted you never will ...... and next time come prepared ... bring something of value to refute my logical points ....... useless illogical one liners with personal attacks aren't impressive.

It is not my call. I'm not the one who is declaring logical and illogical and that too without providing the reasoning behind it. Anyway don't get crossed buddy it is just simple counter-questioning and you should expect it when you post on public forum. However I may help you in simplifying the problem. There was two things which IMO you're confusing (1) Should one celebrate (2) How to celebrate? ... Now think about it and again don't get angry.

Muslim Dad? I think we all know who Amir khan is
It always helps the media to highlight the faith of the subject if and only if the he or she is a Muslim. However, it will be a horrible mistake to call "Christian President of USA Donald Trump, Hindu prime minister of india" etc.

Even Academic Christians don't Believe Jesus was born in December ... Western Jesus who is white , has blue eyes and blond hair definitely born in December ..

Xmass is copied from roman's.. The actual DOB of Prophet Jesus isn't known.

My line manager (a Muslim) has organised a party for Christmas for our entire team (implying that he's celebrating it).

Considering the fact that almost everybody hates his/her boss, I'm hoping that some pious Muslim will "take care of him" if you know what I mean.
I don't celebrate Xmas but I wish or greet my Christian friends... And partake in their festivities...

Gods curse on Humanity!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mullah wannabe psychopaths. These are the monkeys that are brainwashed and conditioned by propoganda against Islam. They start acting like how they are maligned in the news. Total monkeys are there are lots of them. They think they have the rigbt to threaten someone over their own decision. You are not judy or jury so f**k off away from peoples lives.
