I think the General Sahib is brave and he only came back to Pakistan to clear his name, nothing more. I no longer believe he wants to do politics in Pakistan and just wants to get out of Pakistan as soon as he gets his first chance. Allahu Alam.

The former President of All Pakistan Muslim League said in an interview just after Pervez Musharraf was arrested that his advisers around him are not that wise, mature or have political experience. I tend to agree with him because as soon as Pervez Musharraf landed in Pakistan, that tiny crowd that came to greet him was a total embarrassment. The face of Pervez Musharraf said it all. There were no high ranking politicians or even military men to greet him. I mean he's not just a party leader but a former President and Chief of the Army Staff. Even a stateless leader like Yasser Arafat had more respect in the world than what Pervez Musharraf has received so far in his own country.

Then, when he gave his first media conference, he immediately had a go at his own party workers. He was shocked how poorly the party was structured and he was disappointed at the size of the turn out. Itwould appear he was lead to believe that support for Pervez Musharraf would be equivalent to Benazir Bhutto when she returned to Pakistan in 2007 but so far its been a major disappointment. I think Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri had also had some role in bringing him back to Pakistan by convincing him. Allahu Alam.

Why isPervez Musharraf relying on the Pakistani military to rescue him? They're not his babysitters.
