Why talk about something so far in the past, but he first let the fitna grow and then did not clean it up.

While fitna was being grown, media & people were criticizing to him that why dont he take action against them. he was trying to get them on straight way via talks so that loss can be minimized. but when he conducted operation eventually media & civil society went against him and started crying that he brutally killed to innocent girls of jamia hafsa.

That was all nearly a decade ago. Aren't there more pressing problems in the present?

The only thing that led to the massacre was the shooting of the Colonel. Otherwise the situation could have been handled much better.
