Musharraf vows never to visit India again

^^^The guy is playing cheap shots for publicity, we should not take him serious. He should come back and live in his country with his own people, if he has to win their hearts.

Rehamn Malik has been tasked for his murder.

He is putting together and financing baloch rebels who will be blamed afterwards.

I think this has more to do with Musharaff's comments regarding Indian involvement in formenting trouble in Pakistan....

I dont think anyone would take kindly to accusations of supporting terrorism without appropriate proof....

Keeping a clean fool proof track record has become India's #1 priority these days..

Every day India blame Pakistan govt. but never heard Zardari complained to any of it.

So, by your formula Zardari is not any one... he is some one.

common that is bad.. the poor guy needed to come to india to give some dhamaka speeches.. try to get publicity. and try to win next pakistani election.. loll.. good riddance.

Too bad the Indian private organisation invited him. I dont know if Musharraf is controlling Indian orgs

We have already debated all possible silly reasons by India for this refusal starting from

His comments on Indian terrorism in Pakistan BUT again this is not the first time he said so he had been saying so in the past too.

2. Indian notion about Kargil as reason is dumb and sillier rather a slap on India itself because if that was the case why Musharraf was allowed in 2005 and 2009 to visit India.

Or is it that Indians have woken up so late from memory loss and suddenly realised that Musharraf and Kargil sound familiar.

The bottom line is India is afraid of his media handling simple as that

Yes, you got that right. We shake and shiver in our dhotis due to his media handling.

Meanwhile, S.M.Krishna explains:

India today said time was not conducive to grant visa to former Pakistan President Pervez Musharraf to visit the country.

"Time is not conducive at this point of time to grant visa to the former Pakistan president Pervez Musharraf. The government, after weighing all options and taking into consideration various issues, took a decision to deny the visa", external affairs minister SM Krishna said.

Krishna, on a private visit to his home district, however, refused to be drawn into further discussion on the issue.

Musharraf, who wanted to visit India to attend a seminar this weekend, was not given visa with official sources stating the decision was taken after the home ministry had expressed reservations over his visit due to his recent anti-India statements.

The government, according to the sources, also did not want convergence of elements opposed to the present government in Pakistan on Indian soil for their activities.

Musharraf, living in self-exile in Britain, was invited to attend a seminar by the Young Presidents Organisation, an international outfit involving influential business leaders in which he was among the guest speakers.

his wish his vows.......nevermind if GOI allows his visits are always welcome.......

All out of power Presidents and Prime Ministers and more so those in exile, love to come to India to attend seminars and project their personal agenda and also show how much they care for Pakistan.

India is an important destination since for these out of power Pakistani politicians since whatever they say in India will have huge coverage in the Pakistani media and hence they get free wide coverage of their views.

The denial of visa is a serious blow, thus, for Musharraf since he will lose the coverage in Pakistan, which would be a big platform for him and his to be launched political party.

Poor Musharraf!

No one seems to like him any more.

That had also been debated. And this point is also in the category of silly reasons.

this is not the first time he criticised India.

and as far as political agenda what it has to do with any harm to India in the first place but above all he was coming to India to attend the conference to the best India could have done to give him just two or three days visa if India was fearing he would carry some political activities for his party which BTW is BS because he is not contesting elections in India

All reasons are speculations...including yours, since the GOI has given no reason for the refusal as well..

Regarding the bolded part....
It is up to us to allow a former dictator who was responsible for derailing India-Pak peace process by creating war, and to top it all, spew anti-India venom in Indian lands while earning Indian dime without any proof...

If the Govt has realized that Musharaff is only selling papers and creating hysrteria by hurling baseless accusations, and not at all helping India-Pak work towards peace and trust....then I think this is the right decision by India...
Also, India and its media should not be used as a tool for Musharraf to further his political objectives aka. promote his new party...He can fund those efforts himself...

Your "India is afraid" diatribe is quite amusing though...

:rofl::rofl: and how many years you need to figure out the real situation where Indian organisation has invited him. Otherwise he has no love for hearing bhajans in bharat
