And, no one to defend Musharraf in politics too.

Where are Chaudhry brothers, Shaikh Rasheed, Durrani and Sher Afgan? Another lesson for dictators.

Sharifuddin Pirzada has been summoned to London by Musharaf. Qayyum is also willing to represent him.

Lets see what can these constitutional wizards do this time, when their client is out of power. And one thing more, both of them are the characters in 3rd November incident, they may also be summoned by SC.

Quayyum has also advised Musharraf to face the court. By the way, its Abdul Hafeez Pirzada, not Sharifuddin Pirzada, summoned to London.

over the longer term everything comes back to whom we (ppl of pakistan) support.
no one is willing to go head on with judiciary. only reason bec it was ppl of pakistan who put it up there. any panga with these judges would mean panga with public. and neither america nor does our army want that. PM is in chill mood and is not bothered. zardari is already strugglin to improve his reputation.

Yes. it is the political power of people that is directing the historic event till now, lets see what happens next week. Remember the evening of 12th May? Yeh hai awami taqat. And history has also some cards to play, vital ones.

its not a proceedin against musharraf. its more lik a constitutional debate. if SC gives verdict against the actions of Musharraf that will then open the doors for taking up matters lik NRO and action against musharraf.

This summon is a JOKE. According to the annals of law and fair justice no grieved / accuser party (in this case Ch Iftikhar and the 3rd Nov dismissed judges) can be the judge of the accused (Musharaf). The summon is politically motivated and knowing Sharif ud Din Pirzada, this case will not have the legs to stand on if goes to court.

At best if Ch. Iftikhar would have been a fair CJ he would have constituted a bench of neutral judges (who were not involved in 3rd November nor pro-Musharraf) and then allowed them to decide how to proceed and serve any notices thereof.

This is a politically motivated revenge on part of the CJ which wreaks of vigilante just then fair justice.

Murderers and thieves can be ignored, but a guy who fired someone from a job, needs to be hanged first... Kya baat hai Pakistanio ki.
