Direct Overt U.S. Aid and Military Reimbursements to Pakistan, FY2002-FY2010

Of the Security related US$ Billion 10.783, US$ Billion 7.638 are Coalition Support funds -- can you explain what the Coalition support funds are, Are these funds owed for facilites use?

US$ Billion 1.866 are Foreign Military Financing - Does that refer to financing of weapons sales, right?

. .
"Reimbursements"

So noted.

Guess I was trying to subliminally diminish the role of reimbursements even as I provided the document for your review. And so it was reviewed...

Perfidious S-2.

"...can you explain what the Coalition support funds are, Are these funds owed for facilites use?"

Muse, this appears to be a budget proposal from the Defense Security Cooperation Agency. It provides a general overview of the programs and their specific FY 2008 requests. It also defines and details the nature of the requests, to include justifications. Enjoy-

DSCA Budget Requests 2008

"Does that refer to financing of weapons sales, right?"

I believe so.

"Maybe mods can place the document on a post..."

Maybe both.

Congressional Research Service Reports On Foreign Policy and Regional Affairs-FAS

This is a veritable treasure-trove of updated reports on all sorts of general and specifically related subjects. I'd encourage this link integrated, if so.

The true essence of a great leader, by far the best since Mr. Jinnah. I hope he seriously considers a comeback into politics.

He is truly one of a kind. We miss you dearly sir.

What a wonderful treat to watch this interview.

How this man conducts himself calmly and at the same time is firm on his decisions and point of view which he conveys with absolute command and ease...i really admire his qualities and his acumen which is of the highest order.

He did not attack the personality of those who criticised him and maintained the respect for GOP which no politician in our country has done when outside the government!

In our recent past he has been the most perceptive and gritty leader who easily towers above the rest in terms of his capabilities.

He did make mistakes but how i wish he was still part of our government in some capacity where we can make use of his qualities.

Let us hope for the best from Musharraf...it may come to pass that he returns in some capacity.

It is. Even Advani was born in Pakistan, who leads the BJP, a Hindu nationalist party.

Wrong, he has done lot of mistakes

1.Delayed Kalabag Dam
2.Deal with Gardari.
3.Failed to control talabanization.
4.Supported Altaf Hussain.
5.Drone attacks started during his rule.

May Allah save Pakistan from this type leaders in future.

May Allah (swt) save Pakistan from this type leaders in future.

May Allah give more brain cells to idiots like you.

I´ve seen the interview on CNN.
Musharraf responded calmly and professionally.
Fareed Zakaria´s questions were obviously representing American and Indian views on the situation in Pakistan.
What a great leader he was, his charisma is unmatched by any Pakistani leader including Zardari so far.
I certainly do hope he comes back into politics.

This man is simply outstanding . Dont got words to describe him .
He should be the man in the Establishment .
