Musharraf arrives Karachi KARACHI: President Pervez Musharraf has reached Karachi last night.
It is learnt that President Pervez Musharraf will review the overall law and order in the province and measures being taken by the police and other allied agencies to curb crime, extremism and terrorism in a meeting to be held on Tuesday (today).
Informed sources said that the president would be given a comprehensive briefing regarding the performance of the Sindh police during the last six months, at a meeting scheduled to be held on Tuesday at the Governorââ¬â¢s House.
The president is also scheduled to visit the Civic Centre, where City Nazim Mustafa Kamal would give him presentation, regarding the performance of the city government.
Furthermore, he would also meet the representatives of ruling coalition parties in Sindh during his two-day stay in the metropolis.
