As expected and as is well known India has failed to position itself as a secular country. A Hindu has extra rights and a muslim or christian is a second class citizen a liability and a problem. Unless India stops treating muslims as the problem rather than as a community that deserves equal rights its problems are not going to disappear.

Our basic rights are surely and slowly being taken from us. First it starts with a ban on cow slaughter then it is said that don't sacrifice any animal. Muslims are slowly having their rights taken away from them and the end will be genocide of muslims. I think muslims need to pick their side, whether they are with Hindutva India or with Muslim Pakistan-Me and my family have made the right choice-it is time for muslims trapped there too.

Stop pretending that Pakistan is a heaven for Muslims. India is a nation with a billion people,issues will be here and there, there is no denying. But majority of the people here are doing good, irrespective of their religions. Conditions will improve in the days to come. Stop worrying about Indian muslims, and take care of muslims in your country. Make them better schools, transport and other facilities. As a whole, Indian Muslims (along with all other Indians) are reaping the benefits of our Country's progress. You can stop being the savior of Muslims.

A lot of things in your religion don't make sense to us but lets leave it at that. The point is that if you claim to be a democracy and secular state everybody is supposed to live according to their will. Nobody can force their views on others of what makes sense to them or not.

Yups if it isn't illegal or against the law of the land nobody should and can stop anybody to do what they want to do. That is precisely what I was asking, whether is it against the law to slaughter animals at home in India?

We have given Muslims extra rights. Rights of religious teaching, right of 4 wives as per sharia. You know they can be PM and president also. We had Very honorable presidents like Kalam saheb and dr Jakir Husain as our PM. It is in contrary to Pakistan where religiou Minorities (Even Muslims) are constitutionally prevented from occupying the highest posts.

the thing is that even though this nay have happened at one place but it happened over 8 years ago were Muslims fearing for their lives had to give up right of sacrifice and freedon of practice of religion. Even now when they want to celebrate eid again the local authorities rather than help Muslims keep their right of religion practice are forcing them to give it up completely. The most horror part is that it has been going on for 8 years and nobody did anything which puts a question mark on the concept of secular India. India must act quickly and give them the freedom of religion to showcase that in every area of India we allow religions to practice their belief on peace and harmony...

This is not very bad and the involvement of the local authorities makes it ten times worse.

Of course not but my Muslim friends give money or the goat to the slaughter house. I do believe that in Muslim majority areas many do slaughter animals in the open or in their house. This practice of slaughtering animals in the open or in house is illegal (as far as I know) hence I was asking for some Indian to clarify the same
