Mumtaz Qadri Hanged in Adiyala Jail

I think he has some logic, Raymond Davis case is another example.
Taseers family was not interested in accepting blood money nor was it willing to forgive (in my view correctly). In addition, Qadri's actions were correctly determined to be terrorism by the courts, whereas neither Raymond Davis not the deaths of PIA workers fall under that category.

if he really degraded the Prophet SAW then he got what he deserved.
Where in the Quran does Allah order the killing of those criticising or degrading the prophet?

You are right on behalf of all beralvis please accept my oppology and send one copy to Abdul!maziz Ghazi and Sauna
Apparently he is coming to Qadri Janaza with madaras student from across Islamabad. You can it directly to him.

Deobandis remain steady but have started to suffer massively in the West, due to so many terrorist groups have similar roots,
This might be your personal assessment based on your observation but few years ago I happened to come across official FBI document meant for military and other law enforcement agencies. According to it, Salafis are the red zone group followed by Wahabis (alah-hadith) and so, Sufi's being in the green zone. Deobandis fall somewhere in between. Idk about UK but Tabligi jamat works quite openly in America and is welcomed by Mosque run by both ICNA and Arabis from Egyptian and Saudi school of thought ( which ever imam they follow).

This is one man. You seriously can't be drawing a comparison between him and the likes of Sipah Sahaba, Lashkar e Jhangvi, TTP, Jammat-ul-Ahrar, Al-Qaeda, and Lashkar-e-Islam etc
Exactly, you can't draw a comparison here cuz all these groups are offshoot of each other and are not supported by mainstream ulama of either Deoband or Alh-Hadith. while on the contrary, Mumtaz Qadari action is supported by mainstream Berlavi ulmma.

Today was a good day for the state of Pakistan and it's writ. But this is a long and treacherous path and we have just started going down it.

Hi,

Iam not sure I understand you. Could you please elaborate a bit?
Poor families are far less likely to be able to afford legal counsel, let alone arrange for a sufficient amount of 'blood money' to pay to the family of the victim. Wealthy individuals/families are far more likely to be able to arrange sufficient amounts of 'blood money' to sway the families of victims. The law is therefore prejudiced against poor people.

In addition, allowing a victims family or victim to 'forgive' an individual who has committed a heinous crime is not in the interests of society. A murderer or rapist is still a threat to society (in terms of committing more murders or rapes) if he is allowed to go free just because the victim or victims family accepted money. The practice also creates an environment in which wealthy and influential individuals can coerce the victim or victims family to 'accept blood money' and 'forgive' the criminal. 'Blood money' in exchange for forgiveness is therefore an extremely flawed practice and/or law and should be repealed.

Piece by piece this edifice of bigotry, intolerance and hatred constructed in the name of 'Islam' in Pakistan by the Mullah Raj and their apologists shall be chipped away at until it stands no longer.

bro thats a classic case of state vs religion.you can either implement modern law and completely remove the concept of diya(most probably it will be thrown out of supreme court because it will declare it unislamic) or you keep this law.
thats why for implementation of almost any modern law we need separation of state and religion.

I gave you a rational argument on why the diya law is prejudiced against poor people and puts broader society in danger when criminals who have committed heinous crimes are allowed to go free because of 'blood money'. What's your response to that, or is Islam prejudiced against poor people and does not care that a criminal will commit more heinous crimes against others when allowed to go free because of blood money?

Sure, that would be ideal, but my point is that the laws can be changed and reformed even while retaining the 'Islamic nature' of the State in the short to medium term IF the Mullahs are asked to justify their interpretations in court.

At the root of the whole thing is the 'Blasphemy Law' - this law is essentially the Mullah's weapon to stifle all dissent, debate and criticism of their regressive interpretations of Islam that they have peddled to the masses and used to destroy Muslim societies and nations over the past several centuries. At one point the Islamic world led or rivaled the rest of the world in scientific discovery, the arts and development - and then came Mullah power and their clampdown on free thought and speech under the guise of 'blasphemy'. And now the Islamic world is at the level of the Medieval ages when Christian priests were burning people alive for 'blasphemy' and shutting down free speech, and scientific discovery and research.

Saw this at Imperial market Raja bazar Rawalpindi......
In short, we will not shut our businesses when our children are butuchered, nor will we do so when it is a call for Namaz.......but sure sure, we will wreck havoc for Shaeed Mumtaz Qadri.....hypocricy.......btw this morning traffic was extremely low in the city, i believe entry exit points are closed......
