Lol you are obviously not aware of their history. They used to target kill pakistani soldiers in Karachi. They have skinned a captain and took part in drive by shootings where they killed scores of pakistani military men. The only reason why all of a sudden they are bending down infront of the military is that they are trying to give a message to the military that it is not alone, if it needs to implement martial law, it will not be left out as there is a huge support base that will support its decision.

That's why I worte one of the good things I like about MQM. Just to let you know I was born and raised in karachi, but neither my family nor me ever supported MQM. As you mentioned that MQM guys used to skin off our Army jawans can you please provide a link. I only know about the police operation and all of the police who took part in the operation were killed. Thanks.

1990s...hmm. Actually it was Nawaz sharif operation.. It was political motivated... Instead of real culprit they targeted MQM, tortured them , not different from Lahore minhaj ul Quran incident but on vast scale.
