I just recently moved to new city for my work , and I found a place close to some indian buffet place

I have been exploring some South Indian vegetarian food , and I must say I am quite impessed with the Dosa's and other items so far

very light and very delicious stuff I suggest every one should give it a try

Food is kinda pricy but buffet makes for it and Gajar ka Halwa , wah wah maza ageya ... zaberdust ... sweet dishes

I did had some lentil soup "Maligawatny Soup" awesome taste ..superb 10/10 just mouth watering soup

Tried some other soup brand too called Rasam man its SUPER HOT .. .kindly like super hot tomato soup ... etc

There are some other good items but will check it out

The lamb biryani is also 10/10

Hartford ~ excellent city small city not as big as other cities I have been to

I have been to LA and crime rates were horrible also Chicago was some what ok

I like this city quite palce, ppl are good to at work

The best part is the city has alot of wind and great breeze but ocassionally gets a bit humid

But I went thru alot of screening and background checks I mean we are talking down to nitty gritty before I was hired even I had to pee in a jar lol

I am suprised how much background check is done in US companies now a days ...

DNA/URINE/CRIMINAL/driving records

I was like man I am going to working a desk job not planning to go to Olympics

The whole new england area is beautiful.. I lived for a few months in a place called Windsor, about 15 miles north of Hartford.. If you stick around till Aug - Sep, the fall is fantastic in this part of the US

Yeah there is alot of vegetation and stuff saw some cherry blossom trees , (Japanese trees) in region as its spring seaosn around here

The only negative thing is commuting to work as the transit system is not really good and cab drivers charge a bundle thinking of getting a rental or something but alot of cash is wasted on living expense every time I travel and work ...

Rasam is used to mix with rice and ate in Kerala..good that you tried it..personally i dont like it :D ..but good to know that you are trying South Indian dishes..try idly and Sambar,Masala Dosa,Puttu etc ..

I really don't like rasam, I have tonsils problems and the amount of tamarind they put, it make my throat jam! I stick to North Indian/Pak non-veg diet mostly!
