The guys who built the wooden walkways and chiseled the steps are crazy bastards. Or agile as monkeys. Or employed crazy agile monkeys.

I did a treetop adventure exercise in Melbourne and that scared me. And it was only 10 -15 meters up.

I dare not....I have been to Xi'an before to attend my cousin's wedding.
I remember some paths on Huangshan (yellow mountain, another UNESCO world heritage site) were quite dangerous too. I was 13-year-old back then, had the courage to climb.

I mean I've only been to Xi'an. You know, if one travels to Xi'an, they will mostly pay a visit to this mountain.
tips, how to go to Huashan
1, From Beijing/Shanghai/Guangzhou (Any HSR service to Xi'an North will stop at Huashan North)
Take an HSR directly to Huashan North Station from which there are tourist buses to the tourist centre.
2, From Xi'an
shuttle bus from Xi'an OLD railway station. (2 hours, but directly to the tourist centre)
HSR as in the first solution, only 30 min but have to transfer to a bus later.
