So just because a clean person is unable to make things better so far, people should just turn to looters and robbers for temporary relief?

It was temporary due to Ishaq Dar pumping billions of dollars into forex market artificially propping up PKR. As the foreign exchange reserves dried up, PKR nosedived leading to current inflation
Note how pkr was artificially kept fixed while the foreign reserves were rapidly declining. Throwing money at the pkr to kept it stable artificially is the root cause of current mess.

IMO people that support corrupt are equally responsible for the mess the country is in and are in the same category as PTM or TTP.

You called Fatima Jinnah a traitor, then Sheikh Mujib was declared a traitor through conspiracy case, then Bhutto was hanged then the Afghan war was called jihad. Then same Afghan jihadi fighters were called terrorists and a threat to world peace. Benazir was declared a security risk. Today, we accept that Nawaz Sharif is a security risk.

For practical purposes common folk only feel two things
1. Growth
2. Inflation

Thus in 18 months into election every govt manipulates interest rates & state bank lending to create huge fiscal space, low interest to stimulate Gdp growth...end results you go into boom followed by burst that not only wipes out the previous gains but create 3-4 years period of low growth..

This cycle happens again and again... as it does (currency manipulation) work..and is popular

[emoji106] absolutely, would like to add a bit that according to IMF growth during next 2 years will 0.5% only. If you compare it with population growth of 2.02% it actually becomes negative.
