Moscow Worried About Beijing’s ‘Sinicization’ of Central Asia, Caucasus

Watch this. It might help you reduce your hate.....

Thank you, could you imagine that this is all made by god?

The same god that China and it's people try to reject.

Whoahhhh

Kazakhstan has been trying to lure Kazakh Chinese with incentives to migrate, and for a while many Kazakh Chinese took up the offer only to find out that Russian language is required for most high paying jobs in Kazakhstan. For Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan, labor exports to Russia are like the bloodline of their economies. People learn Russian to work there. The entire Central Asia is Russified. Russians worrying about Chinese cultural influence in Central Asia is like Americans worrying that Chinese movies will beat out Hollywood in Europe.

I think this should change in the future. Central Asia is not alien to Chinese influence. China was the dominant power in Central Asia during Tang Dynasty days.

Tang dynasty was 1000 years ago, dude. Central Asia is basically a quiet land by the time.
Obviously America worry about Euro-Asia alliance.

Russian influence is waning. Islamization and Turkification is rising. There is no sinicization, but China is taking advantage of decreased US influence in the region to build economic partnerships.

No doubt, Russia is indeed wary of China, and they don't have any counter to them in a post-US world.

They are allies for now, but historically Russia has always viewed China with suspicion.

Don't expect much.

Russians can sleep well for as long as the party has more to gain, than to lose from keeping not acknowledging the presence of two elephants in the room.

You have to understand that China's territory was lost by the Qing Dynasty and the Kuomintang. At least the Chinese Communist Party did not lose its territory when it came to power. The previous one became a legal fact. Unless war.

And not so few people say that the party will not survive another one, even if it were to win. 1989 would not be if Deng did not have 1979.

Who won Sino-Vietnamese war? America did.

What u said is just like Mongol-Manchus were the winners in VN-CN conflicts thats weaken CN power and finally Mongol -Manchus had the chances to invade both VN-CN ( successfully occupied CN, but defeated in VN).

CN is always the big loser, if u cant defeat US like defeating Mongol-Manchus, then u will be the loser for good. VN simply still ok.

I've noticed a lot of articles recently from both the Western media and Indian media trying to drive a wedge between China and Russia for politically convenient reasons.

The reality is that China's economic influence in Central Asia is heavy and will continue to grow. But there are severe limitations as far as cultural influence is concerned due to historical, cultural and linguistic reasons.

Pan-Turanism and Pan-Islamism are far more powerful forces in the region and arguably have already surpassed remaining Russian influence.
