a 50 km ranged SAM means, it can hit an incoming missile from 50km away, for more understanding if a AshM comes from 300km away, that AshM will be targeted by that SAM after it passes 250km. bujhcho schotto bondu
There is a reason why navy ships operate in large formations with a mix of assets, anti-ship missiles are serious threat and a lone frigate's or a few corvettes' defences can be overwhelmed easily by a barrage of such missiles. Nobody ever defeated a country with considerable army and air force with just two frigates. I think you are writing frigate but imagining 7th fleet.
By 2020, BD will have two modern frigates with 8 modern corvettes for escort. These ships can engage many dozens of missiles and aircraft at the same time. Myanmar is easily handled in this respect.
By 2030, I expect BD to have 4 modern destroyers, 8 modern frigates and around 12 modern corvettes. When combined with fighters from the mainland, I expect BD to challenge Indian Navy in the Bay of Bengal.
Also add a few alien ships from the movie 'Battleship' in that list, you would feel better.

True, there is no need for fights, wars, when we can live in peace & harmony and grow together. Bangladesh maybe weaker militarily, but so what? They don't need to build up their military when they are surrounded by two very responsible peace-loving nations, India & Myanmar....we should work together for the betterment of our people in the region. That's what @Aung Zaya and I was trying to convey to our Bangladeshi friends who suddenly went into a war-mongering mode when none was needed,
