What's new

More lethal than RAW

The author is spot on, Pakistanis love to live in denial and false sense of superiority, anything that contradicts this is seen as conspiracy theory.

:) am glad he was rightly catering to large section of Indians by putting few uncalled for lines in otherwise a good commentary on sorry state of Pakistani students' ability

I really do not know at least in my province KPK nothing of the sort happened neither any such topic is considered rational or worthy of any practical study. May be Hussain Haqqani cal tell us better may be some jiyala from his party was awarded any such degree lolzz otherwise across Pakistan i dont think this could be acceptable

State of education is bad here indeed nobody denies it here. However, putting few biased lines either anything to do with faith or India linking these to a serious matter makes a very serious write up look/sound biased. I found his arguments or points viz a viz state of student's abilities in many areas of study valid that is why i agree with it

:P i type at speed of rocket so count this also along with the sucking spells and btw it has nothing to do with madrassas

Umm, no. The education systems have diverged significantly over the years. Many Madrassahs here in India are Madrassah only in name where theology is just a scoring subject (because the same questions come every year). True story. Even then the students find it much harder to find jobs because niche jobs like that are rare.
The reform process of the Madrasas may not have reached uniform success all over the country, but in few states like Bengal they have done quite well. When West Bengal Board of Madrsah education act came into force in 1994, a much needed secularization process started and their syllabus is quite at par with the national standard. In five states, the certificates issued by the Madrasah board are considered equivalent to those issued from CBSE. But the Muslim participation in higher education like medical and engineering is still low, but that is not due to poor curricular standard of Madrasa board but mostly due to they can not afford those. Socio-economic status may be held primarily responsible for it.

Science for the ummah - Pakistan - DAWN.COM

Genie Energy (and/or Electricity from Jinns)

This just has to be the most exciting and unique project of holy science: Deriving electricity from genies (jinns).

This brilliant theory was first presented by a brilliant Somalian alchemist, Dr. Mabuto bin Kambata in 1985 AD.

After being ridiculed by secular Western Judeo-Christian scientists and pagan African witch doctors, bin Kambata escaped to Pakistan where he was given sanctuary by Khalifa Ziaulul Haq.

Bin Kambata soon convinced Ziaulul to hold an international seminar and conference on Islamic Science.

With lots of Saudi aid to kill but not enough electricity, Ziaulul agreed and the conference was held in Islamabad. Over a thousand modern-day alchemists and scientists from the Muslim world were invited – except Dr. Parvez Hoodbhoy - he’s such a Western secular Judeo-Christian spoilsport.

The highlight of the conference was, of course, a model of Dr. Mabuto bin Kambata’s generator built to summon jinns and derive vital volts of electricity from them.

The generator works after it is plugged in a socket holding electricity that has been converted from AC (Ahmadi Current) to MC (Muslim Current).

But one has to be careful. The generator can sometimes also summon non-Muslim jinns who, if they are not converted (live on TV) by Mujahidan Mayan Khanam, cannot be used to generate electricity.

Such jinns can, however, be used to abduct Hindus with the help of flying carpets.

Renowned ummah scientists like Dr. Amir Liaqat (MBBS/PhD/DDT) and Dr. Ali Azmat have said that Pakistan will have over a thousand Mabuto Generators by 2013 AD.

It will be sad though that Dr. Mabuto himself would not be around to celebrate this joyous moment.

He died in 2001, electrocuted while using a hairdryer in his bathtub. The malicious involvement of AC (Ahmadi Current) was suspected.

Excellent article.
It would be very funny when we dig out for the main reason of that phenomena .But the fundamental problem is not only bad syllabus but bad teachers with full of broken knowledge.
Ancient genuises like Aryabhatta,Varahamihira,Neelakanda Somayagi,Putumana Chomathiri did the lessons through Gurukul system. They didnt have facilities like now .But they had excellent teachers that can clarify the doubts of their students .
In this modern world students dont have that much fortune .The quality of teaching profession is destroyed.

NFP satire . Hopefully next time you care to read before claiming/commenting

what about sience and history ....somewhere i heared (ahyes from hussain haqqani ) that there are PHDs done in pakistan where one PHD holder did research and published papers about how to use Djinns powers to rectify power shortage in pakistan isthat right ?

That Gentleman you speak off was from the pakistani Atomic Energy Commision, then later he went on to become the V.C. of a Technical Univ. in LHR. Not a bad idea that he propounded...... on the same lines as the famous "Water Car Engineer" who earned some endorsement from A.Q.Khan aka "father of the Islamic Bomb"; no less.

The fact that someone believed the article to be real is funnier than the satire itself :omghaha::omghaha:

The real culprit are those countless "schools" and "colleges" that we find in every alley. They follow no standard of teaching, no defined syllabus and are not even recognized by the Education Board.
These so-called institutions are responsible for creating thousands of educated jaahils.
Why doesn't Pakistan shut them down? Is it that the government doesn't have the balls to do so for fear of a backlash from the mullah brigade?

There's no mullah brigade involved. These are fake/unregistered institutions offering BCom, O Levels and A Levels.
There are so many of them that society has just gotten used to them rather than question their role and purpose.

The unauthorized madaaris are another problem altogether. So-called Qaaris and Molvi-saahib offering Islamic teaching without receiving proper Islamic education themselves.

Government can't be bothered to do a clean up since they'll just pack up and open shop elsewhere.
