No, they are aboriginals of Southeast Asia.
The Mongoloids Southeast Asians originated in Northern parts of Southeast Asia and Southern China and later expanded to Southern Southeast Asia.
The original southern Asia's belong to dark skinned races
i dont think thats the case, the south east asians maybe very dark and still resemble the mongoloid race, the northern china and southern china also differ in complexion and in features, and so do koreans and the japanese
it is possible that these people's ancestors migrated from africa, or there was migration of african malay people of madagasker to south east asia
i find it very hard that curly haired people which look different to south east or south asia would be wiped out with very few hundred people.
it is possible that some africans migrated to the south east due to slavery of arab people who dealt in slave trade when they visited malacca etc.
the skin tone varies with the environment, the northern indians are fairer than southern indians ans so do southern chinese compared to northern ones.
or it might even be possible that some south east asians evolved a different genetic traits like the polynesian africans having blonde hairs and white complexion due to living in tribal areas and in a secluded places.
