This is not a problem but our strength.

My reply was that its not just the North-Eastern people who get discriminated everyone faces the same problem when they are away from their home and i have lived all over India thatswhy i am saying that.

Deal with it theres no point making an issue out of it is what i would say.

Northies in South,Southies in North is not racism, but N-E people are discriminated based on racial feature and this is racism. We as Indians should feel ashamed about it.

In my personal experience north and south Indians love to tease each other , it was great fun you know I don't find any kind of racism in it. But NEasters behave in different way and its difficult to judge them I mean they are not expressive.

We Indians too behave differently in other countries. Does it mean it gives licence to goras to discriminate us. When we have objections on how Indian students are treated in Australia, we should have even more objections to how N-E people are treated in other parts of India. It is after all their country as much as ours.

People never confuse them with Japanese or Chinese but many confuse them with Nepalese because of so many Nepalese in India.

No they are Indians, who happens to live in North East part of our country.
