Second, You need to get your head checked. Did you read what I just wrote? I said that Manchus had immense influence over choosing the final dialect that came to be unified as Chinese. Ofcourse they adopted to the language. But this doesn't mean that they didn't bring their own traits, or left their own legacy. Even the word Mandarin Chinese was used to denote the language spoken by the Mandarins of the Qing Court. The way the initial Manchu emperors and officials adopted the language, that is the way they spoke it created a lot of Mandarin pronunciation. It is like a chinese trying to speak english, but however hard he tries, he is not able to speak the perfect local way.

Thirdly, it is a joke to consider that the "superior" culture won. The culture blend together. Like 95% original Han, and 5% Manchu. To be honest, Manchus contributed disproportionately even relative to their population.

Fourthly, in your paragraphs, their is a distinct sense of saying that Han is equivalent to China. Which it is NOT. Another poor attempt by indian try to educate us on Chinese history. Mandarin was chosen by Ming dynasty of emperor yongle(zhudi) when he choose the capital of Beijing and build a huge new capital there. Ming dynasty was essentially a hans court. The Qing who took over from Ming just continue whatever the Mings formulated. If they do not continue what the Mings do, their empire will have long gone as most Han Chinese will continue riots.

Stop making up lies of Manchu are the one formulating mandarin court or Chinese Han culture. That was the biggest joke I ever heard.
