Srinagar: In a major development, the Modi government is readying to stop all the government facilities meted out to separatist leaders in Jammu and Kashmir.

A report published in Amar Ujala said the Centre plans to stop providing air tickets, hotel and taxi services to the separatist leaders Syed Ali Shah Geelani, Mirwaiz Farooq andYasin Malik during foreign tours.

The Bharatiya Janata Party-led regime has also asked J&K government-led by Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti to stop the same provided by the state government, the report stated.

Notably, around Rs 100 crores are spent annually on separatist leaders. While the Centre shares 90 percent of the burden, the state spends only 10 percent.

The decision to remove remove the security cover provided to the separatist leaders has to be taken by the state government. At present, 950 cops are on duty to guard the leaders.

For the last 55 days, life has remained totally paralysed in Kashmir due to curfew and protest shutdown called by the separatists, ever since Hizbul Mujahideen terrorist Burhan Wani's encounter.

A total of 72 people -- 69 civilians and three policemen have killed and over 11,000 others injured in the Valley during this period.

The government is tightening its noose over Hurriyat hardliner Geelani.

Naeem Geelani, the elder son of Geelani, was recently summoned by National Investigating Agency (NIA) for recording his statement in connection with a Preliminary Enquiry (PE) registered by the probe agency.

The case pertains to a PE registered by the NIA to probe flow of funds into various bank accounts from overseas which in turn is allegedly being used for anti-national activities in the Valley.

However, NIA said the allegations levelled against the probe agency were totally baseless and that the agency was probing a legitimate case where funds were being received in the state and diverted towards terrorism and anti-national activities.

Good start, we need to show the intention that their activities will no longer be tolerable. Next step will be to squeeze them financially and finally put them in solitary confinement. Problem is they think they can do anything and get away with it.

Wait.

We were providing taxi, hotel, flight fares to these guys before? :hitwall:

This even I did not know.

Demoocrazy!!!!:enjoy:
Hehe.

Imagine Bugti given a 300 man Pakistani fouji guard and paid for, at Pakistani Govt. expense.

But wait, he was shred to pieces.

.
Sadly I don't want my taxes paid from my hardworking life to support such extremists free life..

If they want and if they can let them earn it by themselves..

I would rather advocate even that amount to be used for people of J&K rather than these guys..

I just fainted.

That is a very low estimate.

The secretary of DM Anantnag got a house made in Anantnag near Nishat Cinema (? I forgot the name, CRPF is housed in it) ...... some Rs 17 Lac on woodwork of interior only ... !!! Beats the pants off of a guy like me

You think? Why do you think I am being tagged as similar to Joe? Because it irritates me when people know nothing and claim left, right and center about Kashmir. I have roamed the streets ... The problem is the dysfunctional government, the Kashmiris who are the government are the real bastards .. no qualms about it.

There is absolutely no role of GoI in any day to day activity there.

The pellets? Govt of J&K, made of Kashmiris, is responsible for orders to shoot. There are SOPs. We never shoot above ankle. How do you shoot below ankle in a guy running in crouch?

And why should the bureaucrats and politicians work? They ask for money, Center throws money. No accounting!

You know, the contractors of valley for the armed forces? They work either for separatists or the politicians. If draw down of troops takes place, how will money be made?

It is the root cause of all troubles. Hang the lot and see the fun. The government simply does not work! The f^ckers asked me for money to get a work done!
