Modi government: Suffering from Bipolar disorder?

@FaujHistorian,

It's not a disorder or a lapse in thinking - it's a carefully scrutinized and planned policy. A hard stance towards Pakistan's "proxy jihad using 'non state' actors" and repeated cease fire violations is a decision taken by the new government and we have to live with that and face the benefits or the consequences of it.

The confusion till date lies in the inability to understand how to deal with Pakistan. Pakistan is the biggest problem India faces - and for all the wrong reasons, and it is the most confusing one as well. What the administration right now feels is that there is no "soft" solution to this problem. We share the same concerns that the other neighbors of Pakistan have as well - Afghanistan for e.g. is about to face the biggest influx of Pakistan sponsored terrorists by the year end - they, along with their US allies are equally confused about Pakistan. Iran will be in the cross hairs of AQ / ISIS groups mainly from the Pakistani side in the near future - they are confused as well and have been pleading and now threatening to enter Pakistani territory. The Chinese have their own concerns about Islamists in their provinces.

So, what you view as policy bipolarity by your neighbors - in reality stems from the confusion that is Pakistan.

Bhai you are living in 1980s Jihad aka fasad times.

Please move to the reality of 2014. then you will see the disorder very very clearly.

.
One day "Pakistan Dushman hai", we'll destroy this country in 30 min.

Next day ????????????????

"maharaj Pakistan bhai, can I please please send wheat using your roads to Afghanistan"?

Guys don't take me wrong.

I am all for good relations between two countries.

But this bipolar disorder must go,

All BJP leaders must be banned from making $tupid and threatening statements against Pak. opposition cannot be stopped but then who cares.

All PML-N leaders must be banned from making $tupid and threatening statements against Ind. opposition cannot be stopped but then who cares.

This is the way to go if Modi gov wants peace in the region.

p.s.

I know PA officers personally on LOC. They never wanted to start anything on LOC. Right now PA is totally focused on Western front while fighting Tali-bitches.

There is no forking way, PA wants to start a two front war. There is no forking way.

80's, 90's were the times of the mujjis and the talibs - 2014 is the time of the bokos and the AQ's and the IS. The dangers have only multiplied multifold.

Who do you think is the carrier or will be the platform in the region for AQ / ISIS style groups?

As for the topic- do you see bipolarity only with India or do you witness the same with Pakistan's relations with other nations as well?

.
India not USA
USA not India
Please wake up and smell the coffee.
Bhai, use some basic basic basic basic logic.
Thank you

I am already awake, so no need to smell coffee :), thats why I said "thinking it might work". But if I were you, I would have used this as an oppertunity to open up talks.

Oh bhai meray,

jaan meri,

your analogy was so far off that it wasn't even inside the "stadium" to be considered as part of the discussion.

I reckon, international politics and military history is not your forte.

1. this thread is not about single person aka Modi, instead it is about Modi gov

2. Shooting civilians across IB and then asking for road access are two opposing aka bipolar behaviors.

Hope you understand.

modi is modi government and modi government is modi. after the kind of win he won in recent election, he is by far the biggest and tallest leader in india.

as regarding shooting both india and pak are at fault.

anyway what is bipolar about modi here?

Civilians died on both side - unfortunate. The target was military, the opposing posts. And it is not the first time there is border firing going on, it happens all the time, every year. Only that on Pakistani side only civilians die...
Do you wish that any process which can normalize the relations be stopped because of something that has always been happening? What is it that Modi govt has changed? Except for running for peace talks after every Indian soldier's death?
