Modi built up a strong man image hence now he cannot afford to accept any defeat. This means that India will keep losing battles/territories to China and Pakistan but Modi will keep claiming victories.

This is excellent news for China and Pakistan.

India has been requesting/pleading China to share their maps during the meetings but China has simply declined to share. This is further bad news for India.

Indian military and establishment have been clueless and scratching their heads for almost a decade now on what is China's position on LAC. They have been begging/pleading China to share Chinese maps with LAC but China has flatly declined to share any maps.

LAC is what Chinese will claim and it will keeping changing/moving towards west with time.

India just has to withdraw accordingly to make peace (avoid confrontation).

Currently China has claimed all of Galwan valley i.e India forces are patrolling only on the West of Shyok river bed.

China has also claimed until finger 2 hence Indian military is no longer patrolling past finger 2.

Tomorrow if China claims the whole lake of Pangong then India will withdraw all its boats from the lake.

India is not only clueless but also powerless.

Chinese gave you a LAC Line in 1959 and then another in 1993.

Chinese have stopped recognizing any LAC lines since the last 10 years and flatly declined to share any Chinese version of the maps.

Indians are still hoping that Chinese will stick to 1959 Line if not 1993 LAC Line even though Chinese have both confirmed verbally as well through their acts of incursions.

Today, India has dismantled any and all structures that they constructed between 1959 LAC and 1993 LAC lines and are not crossing the red LAC line of 1959 to avoid any confrontation with the Chinese while Chinese have built permanent camps and patrolling all the way to the LAC line of 1959 and beyond as they wish.
