We do not impose wealth tax, we do not have deceased tax and of course we have failed miserably as state to snatch those huge chunks from those landlords who have left these acres and acres of fertile land just for sheer cropping. That sheer cropping process involves 4 parties and the harvester himself has least concerns regarding maximum output. These things which i have mentioned involves biggest stake holders of this country....Who is going bring such changes ?I think your comment might carry more currency if your first observation as a 'commener' was that nobody pays taxes in Pakistan forcing the governments to rely on foreign loans to sustain their budgets and remittances from ex-pats to balance the trading account.
As i mentioned some days before, as per UNDP report Pakistan is giving subsidies upto 2000 billion rupees to the landlords, politicians, industrialists, and armed forces. Biggest chunk is given to the industrialists worth over 700 billion PKR per annum. Imagine that much amount is spent for some betterment, to devlop a skilled labour who in return generate their own businesses and consequently pay taxes. That's how China changed their fate.
Since no body is going to bring such changes in near future, atleast let Pakistan evolve through such process where people of Pakistan shall be given right to decide their own political future. Every political leader is manufactured in nursery and each one of them are declared Ghaddar later. This vicious circle will continously prevail till this epxerimentation ends.
