We are not invading Afghanistan, we are just defending our selves ,

Unlike USA or USSR we have a right to defend and not causing any aggression

BTW if US lost that doesn't mean every one else will lose . Afghanistan has been successfully conquered and ruled for 100s of years numerous times in history.

i am not talking about invasions. and am not talking about US losing or whatever. simply stating that carrying out operations in their territory will lead to a rise in terrorism here. that will need to be checked. border will need be more strictly monitored. intelligence agencies and security forces will have to up their game.

this is where i am making a comparison with the US. they could easily bomb afghanistan, without any reaction in their own land. we share a border, land route, tribes and whatnot with afghanistan.

i am not against it. by all means carry out operations against insurgents and terrorists if their host countries are not willing to do so, but we will have to remain vigilant as well. there will be a lot of attacks on military convoys, personnel and installations, suicide attacks on civilians and populated areas. can we sustain another wave of terrorism? can we stop them before they happen?

what happens when taliban claim that innocent people died in our attacks, and announce retaliatory attacks inside pakistan?
