Missile capacity gives PLA cutting edge

No, the problem is there is a power that have monopoly in many areas and they are using those monopoly positions to dominate the world.

The world does not need a dominant power. World needs multipolar world where no country can dominate the world by itself.

Facts:

1. USA rules the world since 70 years ago.
2. If the world doesnt need a dominant power, they couldn't ruled the world.

You can't impose something unneeded to the whole world. You even can't impose something unneeded to a single one country. If they rule the world is because there is a "market niche" for that, and without them... another country will occupy that "market niche" or just it will be chaos, wars and mayhem in the world.

Your reasoning is the same argument behind arabs springs, people think "without government we'll be free", but the reality is that living without a ruler, without a "policeman" is live in the chaos, in a failed state, with permanent wars (like Libya today).

Nice, I expect to see about a 1,000 aircraft carriers in 5 years time.

It's very funny, man :o:. You are still a believer of your invincible empire. Frankly, if you fight a nuclear war you may not win against Russia. If you fight a conventional war you may not win over China. Believe it or not all of us are MAD...

Good to hear that not all of you are MAD.

In order to know if MAD doctrine still exists or not.... we must have access to supercomputers with simulation models of nuclear wars, and it's not the case.

In the cold war there was no supercomputer to simulate nuclear wars, there was no underwater to detect foes SSBN, etc...

Nowadays, who can know if a nuclear war can be won? only a few of people.

Americans are bad in language and lack of common sense as usual...:coffee:

So is building a ballistic anti ship missile that can be mistaken for nuclear launch.:coffee: Hence we have common sense to shoot down the Conventional Trident.

US and Russia know that they can destroy each other equally well. None of the two has upper hand. When it comes to China both US and Russia believe that they could nuke China and get away with it. We have to humbly signal to them that China has the second strike or retaliation capability to finish them as well.

LOL! It doesn't take the U.S. to build a carrier in 10 years. And we don't need a hundred aircraft carriers in peacetime. Hence only around a dozen usually. Don't care if China's shipbuilding capacity is huge. They mostly build cargo ships and so on. Not carriers.

Guess what, if you want a mass naval buildup, your shipbuilding capacity (any ships) needs to be big. The US only has naval shipbuilding left, and leisure boats (we used to own a stingray!) Anyway, sometimes I sound too anti-US and feel guilty. But god damn your hijacked foreign policy. It happens to hurt my countries of origin directly. So that's why. Otherwise no problems with you Oldman1!

Who are you to trust the policemen of the state you live? It's the same, trust or not, it's needed, and without them you would live in a failed state with chaos and mayhem, that is what you want?.

Think in the world as it would be a super-state, where every state is a citizen of that super-state, without a "policeman" in that super-state it will be chaos, and the policeman in this world is USA. Multipolar world is equal to chaos and wars.

The problem is not USA as super-state and policeman. The problem is lack of natural resources, wars are due to economic reasons, not due to "policeman" reasons.

USA has the world hegemony since 70 years ago. Why those wars happened in last years? The problem it's not that they have the power. The problem is economic.

You dumb Spanish idiot. The policeman in my town is instated by the government, based on laws. I don't know how you southern european beggars do it, but who the hell instated the US as police officer of the world? Nobody, that's who. It's a mere status quo after the fall of the Soviets, and is being altered by day. So they start wars and force countries to do this and that in order to slow the decline of their power. You actually like that PEDRO? Idiot.

Retaliation in a nuclear war is based in the invisibility of SSBN.

But if a network of underwater drones can detect every single one SSBN ... there is no retaliation.

You think that knowing if a nuclear can be won or if MAD doctrine still exists is a easy thing... Well.. if that is the case... why USA forbid technology export for supercomputing to China?.

I think you're mistaking it. It IS forcing itself upon the world. Which is why it's meddling with everything everywhere. Which is why they whacked Iraq (when Iraq was NO danger to the US), same for Libya etc.

The people did. By forcefully gaining entry into the government and it's institutions. The governemts of Europe were always either kingdoms or other dictatorships. Then the people, through their representatives, gained entry and reformed it. Now everybody has a voice. Who ever had a referendum for the US being the policeman?

For your information US is behind China in supercomputers but US is the producer of processors, so that they want to cut export of processors as such to China.

They are meddling in the world since 70 years ago, not since Iraq war.
They avoid so many wars in the past. In the last years they were bad boys, it's truth, but the reason it's not their position, the reasons are economics.

That's not the topic.

The question is.. what kind of information about simulating nuclear wars can be get with supercomputing and why USA wants avoid that China get that information?.

Knowing if a nuclear war can be won or if the MAD doctrine still exists is not a easy thing. And only it can be known with supercomputing and simulation models of nuclear wars.

If you recognise those goverments as a legitimate monopoly of force.. you should recognise USA as legitimate monopoly of world force because USA is choosen by those governments as "ally".

Nuclear simulation is a crap talk. It won't help India/Pakistan/NKorea/Japan/Iran/Israel to become accountable nuclear threat. There are only three countries that tested the most of possible things, and that have the credible delivery systems.

Doofus, there is NO international legal mechanism to say this country is the policeman, or that country is. On the contrary, senor, there is the UNSC, and the US doesn't GAF about it's resolutions. It does as it's pleases. So your logic is to 'just respect and recognize' the behaviour of a country that PISSES on the only international LEGAL mechanism? Ah, great reasoning. And they're not a party to the ICC either.

Yes,there is。And it is official。

The speculation now is that YJ-12As will replace Russian Sunburns on PLAN's 4 Sovremenny-class destroyers which are being or about to be upgraded with Chinese systems。

The YJ-18 is a different beast。

Come to think of it,DDG 167 “Shenzhen”,currently under renovation, could be the first to have YJ-12A for anti-ship role。
