No, but some sinhalese are of mixed ethnicity. It is harder to differentiate those.

I actually find the darker skinned Indians to be very attractive, personally. 2 semester ago we had in my university a South Asian festival that celebrated dances from parts of South Asia, there were Pakistani dancers, Bangladeshi, Punjabi, Sri Lankan and then there was one dance performed by one Tamil Indian student -- I believe the dance she performed was called -- Bharatnatyam. The elegance of her form, her skin tone, and the jewelry and regalia that adorned her body was ethereal.

The contestants of miss universe China final have come to Sri Lanka recently. This pre-pageant tour in Sri Lanka is from 26 August to 1 September. This is part of their official agenda before the Grand Finale of the Miss Universe China crowning pageant, scheduled to be held on 13 September in Shanghai.

Ms. Jin Ye, miss universe China - 2013 winner beauty has arrived with them too. She said " I love Sri Lanka very much. Vegetables and fruits here are very tasty. I want to live here after marrying a Sri Lankan. "
