We need to understand one basic fact, Whoever, one follows, ends up like him...

Do we need the rules, values, the family system, the life style of west? no we don't, do we like to end up in old homes, allow homosexuality by law and end up Like Qaum e Loot???? NO, we don't, now check the news story.... Logon, apnay, aur apni naslon k dushman na bano... wake up, before its too late...
Ibrat...Ibrat hasil karo west ki tabahi say, koi pata nahi baap kon ha? burhapa kaisay guzray ga? jo west nay kia, aur jo anjam west ki awam ka hua, tum bhi agar wohi kam karo gay tu usi anjaam say do char ho gay, reham karo apni jaanon pe....

A minister for loneliness, a project first started by the late MP Jo Cox, has been announced by Downing Street.

Tracey Crouch said she was proud to take on the "generational challenge" to tackle an issue affecting about nine million UK people, young and old.

Loneliness cannot be objectively defined.

I guess he means that eastern cultures are more stable than Western.

Religion however plays No doubt a part in that as well.

Simple Observations. Dont you think?

Your lifestyle and life decisions play a part in that and they may or may not be influenced by religion.

Technically Religion does play a part in overall dynamics in question. For example most Happy People do believe in a God.

Feeling lonely is a very natural thing. Even animals and plants feel lonely.

These are philosophical dogmas for which man needs ^religion^.

Alright. Take this example.

You and me, we both are Single4Lyf dudes. I am irreligious while you are religious. Here are some scenarios:
- Both of us might end up in Old home
- None of us might end up in old home(due to nephews/nieces etc)
- One of us end up in old home

Where did religion or lack of it played a role?

Here is another one. What if both of us find suitable partners and never become parents and still end up in old home?

Last one, both of us want to get married but we are such losers that we can never get any Rishta and end up in old home?

Yes in an ideal scenario.

But once again you are equating loneliness to just one aspect of marriage or holy matrimony.

Rather unfair

Hmm... wasn't that the point of OP?

Okay, last of the last one, are people in Pakistan sticking together in joint family system due to Religion or Culture or Financial issues?

Culture

OP kay ghum thoday gehraay hain.

Ab kia state marriage bhi krwaye. Kia zalim soch ha insan ki

And where does culture come from?

Your definition may vary but curiously enough Religion makes an appearance too.

For example.

Hunter and gatherers theory. Both can be defined as culture as well.

Behaviour Uniform is culture in my very simple mind

Sir ji, imho, culture is something which a society collectively practice and it is ever evolving or atleast it should be, otherwise it start to stink. Which is sadly the case in our region. And yes, religion does play a role in it. Both in transforming it first, and then stopping it from evolving.

Everything evolves. Religion does too. And you will find ultra conservatives in every society and culture.
