No Official Link But there's a follow-on order for 39 Apaches... now that's defiantly going to Army.. before the entire fleet is built and handed over to India, Mods have to sign this deal in order to reduce the costs.. Once IAF gets the helis along with iaf, army's air wing pilots will also be trained.
Well 39 Apaches Will Come In Separate Contract itself For Army Aviation Wing Which will be cost More Indeed As this deal is Signed before 30 September Deadline Set by Boeing Other will Come with Increased Price

Related to this deal There will be provision for a follow-on order for 11 more Apache and seven Chinook helicopters in future. But a decision on this will also have to be taken by the CCS depending on the performance of the first consignment,” the same government official quoted .

This is big and it will be a force multiplier. This is a game changer and will remain so for the next decade.

Looking you after a long long time.

Soon the Kashmiri Mofo's Will Face the Wrath of This Beast Like Taliban

Nah,never. If that had been the intention, then there are enough lancers and armed Mi 17s that Indian Army could have already brought to bear upon those miscreants.

sunny paaji made mince meat of an entire pakistani tank brigade just with a bazooka and some hand grenades.
wonder what he could with an Apache and hell fire missiles. defeat the Red Army perhaps8-)

Huh,Red Army would have been just child's play,he would have finished the entire Martian military if had an Apache under his command.

we dont want more chinooks we want more apache
Apache purchase is actually a replacement for our aging mi 35s,22 Apaches are replacing 20 or so mi 35s so it is highly unlikely that we will go for more Apaches.

You are Mis-Informed there is Provision For 11 Apaches and 7 more Chinooks Helos in this Contract Itself Based on the Performance of 1st consignment.

Whereas there Was a Tussle Btw IAF & Army For the Possession of these Helos which IAF won
Now Contract is Signed You will See Army Pressurizing MoD to Buy 39 Apaches For there Army
Aviation Wing Its Battle of Ego's Now ARMY VS AIR FORCE.Win Win :cheers:Situation For India

May be,but one thing I was sure about this deal is that 22 nos of Apache itself is a potent war machine. Don't forget about the massive order on LCH .

30 % offset included in this Contract will Help Us in Upgrading LCH And Increasing its Potency Further

I will be happy If we managed to get their forward looking IR sensor on our LCH,these are the one best FLIR in the world.

Well FLIR pod mounted on both the LCH & Rudra is the ELBIT Systems-developed COMPASS, which is being licence-assembled by BEL. And since ELBIT Systems has been roped in as the prime systems integrator )albeit officially disguised as a ‘consultant’) for the optronic fire-control systems being developed for both the LCH & Rudra, it makes perfect sense (from an interface standpoint) for the JedEyes to be selected instead of the TopOwl (which has been optimised for the fire-control systems & optronic sights supplied by THALES & SAGEM).

So the LCH is Not that Much Behind But Still US tech Has his Charm
