Ministers, MLAs clueless about Satyarthi’s Noble in his home state

New Delhi: Every Indian felt proud after watching Kailash Satyarthi receiving Noble Peace Prize in Norway jointly with Pakistan’s Malal Yousafzai but you will be amazed on the intelligence of the senior politicians, MLAs and ministers of Madhya Pradesh who were clueless about Satyarthi and his work in India.

Politicians here are only aware about state minister and BJP leader Kailash Vijayvargiya (not Satyarthi).

The clueless politicians also congratulated the state minister for his humanitarian work and achievements.
Actually Kailash Vijayvargiya and Satyarthi both belong to Madhya Pradesh. And after the proud moment when journalists tried speaking to the politicians about Kailash Satyarthi’s achievement, these politicians disappointed the nation by showing their ‘intelligence’.

The politicians were only aware about the state Cabinet minister.
Minister Kusum Mehdele first staggered while replying, then said, “It is a pride for the house (assembly).”
Mehdele expressed happiness over 'success' of her fellow MLA.
Another minister Gyan Singh went one step further and praised the work he (Vijayvargiya) did so far for the development of the state. One of the politicians said that he got Noble prize for his work in Indore.

And why should they know or even be appreciative of a Peace Nobel?

This is not a Science Nobel which is given on merit ;but Peace Nobel which along with that of Economics and literature is given for political agendas.

And there are very strong proof, proof from the time when no one knew him, that he is a regular activist, ie a Fraud, who "saved" those children for photo-ops and to inflate number in order to get higher donations. Most of those children were not even labourers to begin with.

And they are not wrong.

Malala is being promoted in order to paint sorry picture of education and women rights in Islam, especially in Pakistan. It is just that anti-malala stance is taken by wrong people ie Taliban, rather than nationalistic Pakistanis which undermines even logical arguments against shenanigans of west.

Noble peace prize has always been given for political purpose ( along with Economics and Literature ).

This thread is about common sense of ministers & MLAs. Not about Kailash Satyarhi's credibility. I can show you dozens of links in favor of him but that is a separate discussion.
Award ceremony was telecasted live on Indian media & published in almost every national & regional newspaper. BJP leader & our PM congratulated him on social media. In spite of all this they are unaware of this prestigious award. They claim themselves from party of 'real nationalists' but they are unaware of Indian who brought honour for country. It is just a matter of common sense not a rocket science.

Over 60 million child laborers in India!
Even Barack Obama recieved nobel in 2009. So going by your logic he also defamed his country.
