Oh, the Neptune was first and foremost meant as a coastal defense missile and I doubt it will be used on ships.

Reports show that Saudi Arabia has received many R&D files and technical files for the Korshun cruise missile among the GROM 2 complex project.. and that Saudi Arabia is cooperating with the State of Brazil in the development of the MTC-300 cruise missile.

What is noteworthy is that Saudi Arabia has developed a special version of the TKF-500 engine, a turbofan engine whose power exceeds both TJ-1000 for MTC-300 and MS-400 for Neptune and Korshun..

The goal of Saudi Arabia to obtain an additional engine that does not serve in any of the mentioned projects, Indicate that Saudi Arabia is seeking to combine the two projects and special King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology research to come up with a special cruise version through which it can break the MTCR barrier and reach long ranges.

Actually most of these systems have been tested already and that is the last phase before mass manufacturing.. some..like the hypersonic missile are still in the project phase but advancing..

There is one family of air-defence radars and a new early warning radar that has a function of 3 different radars and also some radars for low altitude flying objects.. you need all of them..
The same with the ATGM.. different ranges and different caliber.. These you need as many as you can..
