I like the way the Chinese rations have cool graphics, like the soldier with the AK, and the J-10. I'm not being sarcastic... it's fun and a bit different from the usual OD color.

My son brought a few U.S. MRE's back home. I tried them, and I honestly thought they were pretty good. The heating packet worked very well, and the entree became steaming hot in just a few minutes.

We used to be given a 24 hour ration pack and a small hexamine stove.

On a mountain top at -11 centigrade, we used to eat a burning hot stew that filled us to the top before we went to sleep.

Good food! (British army).

Only SSGs are used those packed MREs... the regular troops get food frm the army mess....

nah, my father took a heli to Miranshah for giving some supplies and brought back some meal packs, not from SSG.

Consisted of a paratha, some chicken, everyday sachet, sugar, magnesium packets for fire, salt, a filter paper, and some biscuits and tea. I ate the stuff for three days straight when i was at murree!!!,,,very tasty.
