An army officer told Reuters that the attackers cut through a perimeter fence and entered the Tangdhar camp.

Unfortunate that army hasnt fortified its camps as of yet.
I hope there are no causalities on our side.

No breach of the perimiter took place. The terrorists fired into the camp from an elevated postion- a rather feeble attack really and that this is receving so much coverage speaks volumes about how safe Kashmir really is. Such attacks are a daily affair in many parts of Pakistan and ISAF bases in Afghanistan but in JK when they happen there is wall to wall coverage.

Exactly...it is by the terrorists who crossed the LoC. Now only fools will believe when someone say that some Kashimri has travel all the way to LoC to attack the jawans. There are better targets inside Kashmir than near LoC to attack.
