I never understand what's your obsession with LCA kid ??? You drag it everywhere. So let's make it clear one more time. LCA isn't front line intercepter. So if you have to dream something then it should be some other plane

AWACS need no escort- there is no need- specially when they are deep inside their own territory- so Mig-31 as escorts will be just useless-

i think IAF knows what they are doing... U cant get everything. Rafale fighter has its own advantage Mig 31 has its own. May be Rafale suited more for their needs right now. I would still say India should have choose Eurofighter. But now its a history. Deal is done.

This plane is only for spy and that's enough no need more fighters.
The plane has radar below it and also cameras also to side to take pictures.

The pictures of the Mig-25 tell manything of the photographed things. like if plane is at 6000 ft and the camera took particular tank picture it calculate it and find the real size of the item. Now after many cameras in satellites, no need those fighters. however it has few characteristics, it flies at the height of 1,00,000/- feet so no other simple fighter can reach this hight at this height even missiles not work properly due to thin air, it has speed more than 3000/- km. again be the reason of the missiles failure. hence it was once told in one programme "missiles known as missiles because they miss the target" true for mig-25. the life time of mig-25 were still more but due to reason its closed.


In 1992 one mig-25 went into the sky of the Islamabad and started to take images and datas. F-16 came into the sky, the beast fly with supersonic speed and this was routin and not a single flight.

Pak never cry on it internationally cause it would make joke of them.......

However, I have a small doubt. Shouldn't a Geo-synchronous satellite should defeat the argument quoted above?

Geo-synchronous satellite is on a whole different altitude. Spy satellites are generally found between 300km to 2000km or in the Low Earth Orbit. Geo-synchronous orbit is at an altitude of 36000km!! At this height you won't be able to see anything, since you want to be close to look at things.

Mig 25 and 31 are not hard to detect, but uses speed and powerful radar for recon at insane heights ( near space ).

Its said to be obsolete nowadays, I dont know....
