KOLKATA: A Mig-27 of the Indian Air Force crashed near New Jalpaiguri, about 16 km west of the Hashimara airbase on Friday afternoon. The pilot,
Flt Lt Gautam, managed to eject and was unhurt, said IAF officials. According to them, the aircraft was on a routine training sortie when the accident occurred.
