Mian Muhammad Mansha: Pakistan's richest man speaks

we need 100's more like him to Pakistan a prosperous place

We have many, its just a matter of using them properly.

Unfortunately politics, sect and ethnicity play an important part in who is in and who is out.

Take the Schon's for example, they lost a lot because of their support for PPP.

...take for instance Shehzan company . Many say owned by Ahmadis; or even if its true in no way it must be banned as was said by Jamiat in Punjab University. They so nicely forgot that Nestle was owned by Christians :)

Yeah, actually many businesses were owned by Christian, Parsi, Ahmadi's and Agha Khanis which came under immense scrutiny, so much so that some of them packed up and left the country especially Parsi's and Christians.

Many of the rich ones from these groups left Pakistan in the 80's hurting our economy significantly.

So whats it to you anyway?

Maybe he is, maybe he is not.

Why are you arguing over it?

Because he just wants to "prove" that Pakistan cannot have any billionaires and even if they do , they aren't "real" billionaires. Apparently only india can have "real" billionaires :disagree:

I'm telling you, if there is some any positive thread on Pakistan some indian will come in and do their best to ruin it or play down the positive aspect of it!

You decide for me whom to believe??

a.) Link by Zaki says his Net Worth = US $ 1.0 billion only

b.) You says it is US $ 5 billion

c.) Rest are the unofficial, unconfirmed roamers that have no value.

d.) As for some listed and non listed entities every company have it be it TATA/Birla?Ambani.

e.) If Mian Muhammad Mansha's net worth is US $ 1.0 billion only (As per Forbes-Zaki's link) then after stock market crash it must be lower. If you remove US$ 1 in that account, then also he can't be billionaire.

Were you expecting a lump of cash from him? :disagree:
That isint the subject, but we have forgotton it.

Its about Pakistan and not his money !!

Well I don't know what ever the real worth of his total assets is but he isn't going to give a single dollar to you out of it.:D

So stop worrying about his wealth.

Actually his wealth is considered to be many times more than just 1 billion dollars. But as you know peoples in Pakistan tend to keep their net-assets secret and 1 billion dollars is the amount that he officially declared. There has been various sources claiming between 1 billion dollars (official) to 10 billion dollars unofficial wealth.

Even Zardari's personal wealth is believed to be in couple of billions of dollars but officially he is no where among billionaires
