Most pakistani private channels are working on an agenda ( rather than journalistic ethics) and are owned by shady front companies of business groups(both foreign and local) that have nothing to do with news... ( Gourmet TV. capital tv, dunya news etc)

Alternatively, we need channels like , yeni safak , RT, TRT, VESTI TV , ROSSIYA TV , aljazeera, who are state run and have a nationalistic narrative..

Good idea mate but IK government needs an Information Minister and his team with very particular skillsets. Modern media and information warfare is being imposed on countless countries and one needs people who can counter and go on the offensive by using media.

I've said it before, what Pak needs is a strategic communications expert as a minister or spokesperson. Not the simpletons at ispr nor the protocol officers at the foreign office. In the grander scheme of things Pak has to establish a strategic affairs ministry.
