Based on my personal POV and experience, Pakistanis, Arabs and Turks give FAR TOO MUCH RESPECT & AWE to america. They have far too much fear of America's military. We all know that they have the world's most powerful killing machine. The point is to not get awed or fazed by it. Don't care less about it. The Iranian people, government and military could not care less about how powerful or strong america or anyone else is. They'll take you on no matter what happens. That's why Iran is such a successful country and why the wet respects them. The west/white race will only respect you once they know you don't fear them or give a damn about them. Pakistanis, Arabs and Turks can learn a lot from Iran.

Iran's actions here reminds me of China during the Korean War. Nobody on Earth thought that China would dare to start a direct fight against the US + 16 of her allies in the Korean War. But we did, and not only that, we pushed them into the longest retreat in the history of the US armed forces.

Why? Because we drew a red line. And when you draw a red line, you keep it.

Whereas America draws red lines all over the world and they never back it up. Like the red lines in Syria, the South China sea, and the Ukraine. They don't even believe it themselves.

In the next such dispute if any arises America is even worse off when compared to the military might of China. I do believe there will be a fight to decide which country becomes a superpower.

If any proof is required of rising China then check the gdp. China's already crossed the USA's.

Iran/Persia has a warrior history going back at least 3000 years. The Iranians have won many battles and wars when the odds were heavily stacked against them. The Iranians are are one of the most bravest peoples on the planet.

However, if I'd choose between these Swedish made vessels (Yes they are CB90 and are made by Sweden not US) and Iranian Zolfaqar, My bet is on this baby:

Mighty USA military on its knees! You don't see this very often in Hollywood movies. This is not exactly a moral booster.

US sailors acted well in accordance and Iranians didnt even behaved them as POWs, but as guests which is a very cool headed gesture in diplomacy to prevent this from getting more aggressive even though the sovereignty of their territorial waters were violated.

Realistically speaking, Obviously Turkey is the most nationalist state and people throughout the muslim geography. (I am not a nationalist, nor socialist.)

Brother sorry if I caused offence. It's out of frustration. Things are changing fast and Turkey is becoming more assertive with the west Mashallah. Turkey is one country I want Pakistan to become like. The economic miracle Turkey has achieved since 2000 which has resulted in the living standard of Turks being the same as that of Central Europe, is something to be proud of. I as a patriotic Pakistani have nothing but love for Turkey and to Turkish brothers and sisters. TURKIYE ZINDABAD. PAKISTAN ZINDABAD.

Very well done... Every nation has the right to respect and protect its territorial integrity. Iran caught these men in their territorial waters and returned them without a single hair lost. That was where they won the battle. They showcased that despite western propaganda Iran is not the monster the world would have you believe. That they can show war and cold relations etiquettes but at the same time they will not show any hesitation towards taking any action. Humane but dangerous and the territory that makes iran is no joke.

TBH very mature move by iran when they returned them promptly and treated them with care. could have taken out 30 years of sanctions anger on them but full marks for control.

Nice find Daneshmand! True strength comes from within. The Iranian people have been relearning that in small increments for the past 150 years or so. I had a cop friend who used to tell me he hated to be paired with women and smaller guys. Because the mere impression that they could be taken on would make their work much harder. Hopefully we will reach the point where we don't have be worried about what the next crazy republican president might decide to do or how the next Turkish Sultan or young Arab prince might wish to fulfill his ambitions.
