People need to get over themselves. Punjab is one of the wealthest states in India, and Sikhs along with Jains, Parsis, etc are among the richest groups in India EXPLAIN THAT! You can post pictures of Sikhs from Canada and America supporting Khalistan, but in India its completely different. Look how many Sikhs join the Indian army, political system, etc. They are very much a part of the mainstream India, and they make up 2% of India's population. India's PM is a Sikh, thats like a Filipino becoming the president of USA. And he has been re-elected by the people.(that only happened to Nehru)

Some Pakistanis obvise hatred for Hindus is hilarious. I cant tell how many times on the Internet Pakistanis think as a born Christian and support India, they label me as some type of Hindu lover. We dont think like you, a Roman Catholic Christain Woman wouldnt be leading the Congress party, or a Muslim as vise president or a Sikh as PM. Get over yourselfs, our 3rd President was not only a Muslim, but a Pashtun-Indian..

I am from Punjab and to some extent I understand this thread is about, but not a laughing matter. Those who want to comment should research Punjab's history from 1947 to l984 very closely. Readin some news of TOI and Hindustan Times does not make you expert.

I am a Sikh and no i will not laugh at golden temple attack. It was a mistake and we all have paid a very dear price for that...Punjab was in ashes for almost a decade and finally normalcy returned. Yes my heart goes on fire when i see the likes of Sajjan's Kumar and Titler roaming free on streets of delhi but how do i forget those hundreds and thousands of hindus who risked their own lives saving Sikhs during riots from some pigs who carried on the massacre...Above all i love my country from the core of my heart and no pig(be it titler, be is sajjan kumar or anybody) can change that....

Also please note that the issue about Khalistan is dead and no matter how much vested interests try this movement will not revive. Reason is simple - common man has rejected the notion and have chosen peace and prosperity over hatred... Regarding Sikh's standing for themselves then we are very well standing on our own and no one can dare to have an evil eye on our motherland..period- b/w i don't think i need to tell anybody about the valor and supreme sacrifices made by this race....do i???

I'll actually support Khalistan if Pakistani Punjab also become a part of Khalistan and Lahore becomes the Capital as it was in the time of Ranjit Singh.

I think Sikhs should get their original empire back. Which stretches to NWFP(now KP), like in time of Ranjit Singh. I don't mind Ranjit Singh as prime minister of my state as well!

Seeing the Pakistani sympathizers in this forum, I don't think Pakistanis would mind the new Khalistan.
