When did we ever try finishing you off? That was never in the objective. And in 1971 we wouldn’t have been able to occupy you, but could have launched offensives to cripple nerve centres of pak economy. Obviously our military causalities would have been much higher, but nevertheless we had the CAPABILITY to cripple Pak. We didn't.
