Why are so many Indians and India-centric posts allowed on this forum? Does the forum get anything like revenue from advertisements?

I come here because I don't know any other forum where I get so many replies and so much of discussion on topics I like. If anyone suggests Indian forums where there is so much of activity I would be happy.

Not just Russians but many Eastern Europeans. India is really very open country but these people wont let one Indian to live in thier countries.

everyone on the street will tell you that some of the properties are owned by foreigners in Goa. The concentration of such immovable properties are mostly along the beach belts of Candolim, Morjim, Anjuna, Baga and Palolem in South Goa.

Of late, there have been many complaints of illegal activities being undertaken by foreigners in Goa. Besides illegal acquisition of immovable property, there have also been allegations of a strong foreign mafia presence in the state - responsible for drug-running, smuggling and prostitution rackets. Unofficial reports say about 500 foreigners have also bought agricultural land in the state.

A Varca-based taxi owner quipped, "Let's not talk about the Russian tourists as they come with their money and go back with their money thereby not benefiting us at all. They get their own tour buses which they themselves operate."

heavy Russian presence in morjim, ashwem in the north.. they 'own' properties through proxies, many times converting them into boutique hotels etc.. some won't even rent to Indians or other foreigners. Lately they've been expanding even down south, benaulim, majorda etc.. full of shacks with signs and menus in Russian.

as for drugs etc it used to be Israeli vs Russian groups some years ago but the Israeli presence is less these days, still significant numbers but much diminished compared to earlier.

This Russian and Israeli mafia not only create problems in India but even in Western countries, Africa and Latin America.

These mafias in real create problems for the Governments and its like a proxy economic wars. Indirectly Governments are behind them. But how to understand who are friendly Countries ?

yup, for a lot of people around the world Indian = 'Hindu'

hindistan, hindi = Indian

it's a shame it mostly refers to a religion now, but culturally Indus valley people, current day India/Pakistan.. this region is all Hindustan.
