New requirement for F-16 is 36 and I think we'll be able to work that out with US

For that you need leadership with strong institutions. We have a Senile leadership that attacks and destroys institutions for personal political gains and not in the interests of the whole nation.i cant believe this. in angola, we were being 'guided' by US and Cubans/angolas by Russians. In finality, there was a 'indirect' talks facilitated by US/Russians - it was pathetic and there was no diligence as they were not on the ground. Give credit to our FM Pik botha ran into his Cuban counterpart and sat with him on the hotel bar and said what is it you want so that you walk away victorious and what we want to walk away victorious. 2 hours over drinks. done and klaar as we say it. Next day's meeting, Shultz and Shevednazde expected talks to continue, our FM walked with the Cubans and said no more talks. The reactions was 'without us'. Yes, we walked away and we are great friends till today.
Pakistan needs to come up and be a man's man and get their priorties in line; make peace 360 deg and the rest will come in line. Unless this mentality of master nod's being right is not remediated, the status quo is going to continue
Oom Pik was a very hard man who took no nonsense. As Oom Piet, a great brew master of mampoer says in our area, the 85% drink called F2U. ; a man needs not take orders from master, he needs to be master of his own destiny. It is a shame really. For that you need leadership with strong institutions. Mandela said it very nicely when Clinton was visiting, 'Dont tell us who are friends are and those who are not, if you think you can do otherwise, there is the pool in the back - go and jump in it'. This was a remark when Clinton tried to persuade us not to continue our friendships with Cuba, Libya and PLO. I am sure it is on youtube.
Excuse me friend. dont tell us what to do and what not to do. He was a good man.and look at South Africa now. the living standards are lower than when apartheid was in place.
you have discrimiation genocide going on against the Boers.
EFF is a black supremacy hate group
Mandela was no hero in my book.
Excuse me friend. dont tell us what to do and what not to do. He was a good man.
Yes we have a lot of problems and we have a lot of good as well. Just like in US, you have asses and donkeys, so we do we. We can same a lot of about your US leadership who should have been tried in ICC for crimes against humanity - Bush, Nixon you name it.
Cheers. no further discussion.
The Republican Party has always warmed up to Pakistan. It's the Democrats that have a problem with Pakistan.
Trump is also Republican but he says he's going to put even more pressure on Pakistan if he's elected. The US as a state has made up its policy to unfairly favour india over Pakistan. It doesn't matter whether the democrats or republicans are in White House, the US administrations will try their best to deny or ignore the fact that india is training and funding terrorists in Afghanistan and Baluchistan to be used against Pakistan.
can you blame the U.S for favoring India now??
when Pakistan friendship with China is higher than the Himlaya mountain deeper than the deepest sea??
when OBL was hiding in Pakistan?
when Mansoor was hiding Pakistan??
when India's economy is destined to be the fastest growing in the world and they'll be importing tens of billions if not hundreds of billions dollars worth of military equiptment over the next decade
it wasn't a hard choice for the U.S
Was OBL or Mansoor hiding in Pakistan during the Kargil war when the US back stabbed Pakistan? Can you blame the Pakistani people, not the politicians, for their resentment towards a power which clearly supports indian terrorism against Pakistan?

Sir,
If the U S had wanted to---they should h ave killed him in afghanistan--rather intentionally pushing him into pakistan.
it's South Africans who have to deal with inept leadership not the world.
the U.S isn't a saint never claimed it was I agree Bush along with Obama need to be tried by the ICC
but South Africa along with Zimbabwe have faired off worse under black rule than when apartheid was in place
I don't understand why blacks can't govern themselves and not be corrupt.
